I watched those awards last year, biggest piece of shit I ever saw. I wanted to see some actual game footage, but the majority of the show was made up of stupid bands playing and celebrities engaging in 'witty' banter.

EDIT Interesting. Source engine is a candidate for The Best New Techonology running against Spherex XBOX 5.1 surround system and Nvidia 6800 and Nintendo DS. It seems they've added a few cathegories.
