Hehe, I wish I woulda had time to throw something together this week, but I just had too much going on. Maybe a rest from the contest will help me to come up with something really cool next week...I voted for chu's because it's original and well thought out. His style is very good also.

While nw909's entry fits the contest very well, I prefer chu's because it looks like he actually spent some time on it .

My idea for a topic is:
All drawings have to be done in MS Paint

One idea I had was for a mod to get a few assets (pre-chosen images) attach them to the weekly thingy as a zip and for us to download, and create some artwork for half life 2 (a DVD cover) as realistic as possible, and the best use of the chosen images wins...

My idea is still Invent-Your-Own Half-Life Alien. I think it has potential.

No offense to nw909 again, but come on guys. I mean... this is a photoshop contest and you are supposed to vote for the entry that looks the best, or shows the most skill. I could have done nw909's entry in less than five minutes in mspaint! I mean, it really doesn't have all that much too it, and it doesn't really show much. Chu's shows actual people interacting as if the world had no currency. I understand that everyone has their own opinion, but come on..

I'm just tryin to sway some votes toward chu, don't anyone get in a big uproar that everyone is allowed to have their say and this and that .

Last time I checked this wasn't the WEEKLY MAKE PEOPLE SMILE CONTEST . This is a photoshop contest, and entries are judged ( or should be judged )on the basis of this. I like his entry too, and it made me smile; however, when you are having an art contest, don't you think you should judge it based on the amount of skill used to make the finished product, and not how much it made you laugh? If you don't think this, maybe we should also feature a WEEKLY COMIC CONTEST or something of the like in this section of the forum. That way you guys can have your comics, and we can have our art

I'm being totally serious here. Don't think I'm suggesting that as a form of sarcasm or anything.
