What about the other 99 percent of the prison population that haven't killed people :/

Raped, assaulted, stole, Grand theft auto, Manslaughter, ect. If they are in Prison, no, they should not. If you or they think that isn't fair, sucks for you. (Or them) If they wanted to vote and be a good citizen, maybe they shouldn't have raped, killed, assaulted, burlgarized, vandalized, commited arson, ect.

Felons can't vote for a reason which is good.

I don't know if 'prisoners' have access to vote if they are jailed during election time. Felons go to prison so no, they shouldn't. But people in county jail on election night, etc, do they get to vote? (asking, don't know how it works with that)

But I heard in the US, people who have served their centance still can't vote, Is that true.

It depends on their crime. A mass murderer shouldn't and but someone who didn't pay parking fines should.

If you are in prison you are still paying your debt to society, so no, I don’t think they should get the vote, I don’t consider them eligible to take part in a society they have wronged. However, once they are free, then yes they should be allowed to vote again, as they would not be free if the legal system had not deemed them ready to be integrated back into society.
