Cone, that is.

I usually have to go with the waff, but sometimes I crave the sugary sweetness of it's rival.

Wat

Waffle cones are usually a price upgrade so I end up getting the sugar, but there's always a longing stare over at the stack of waffle ones before I go. So I vote waffle because IMO in a perfect world that's all there would be.

How the **** could you compare the two? Waffles are a dish, sugar is just an ingredient.

Isn't that a standard cone? I assumed sugar cone was some sweeter variant.

I kinda assumed that's what he meant as that's the only other cone type I know of.

But why would it be called a sugar cone?

Hmmm, it appears my lexicon is royally F*CKED UP. To me a waffle cone is like the one Mutoid posted, and a sugar looks like this:

Wat. That's a waffle cone. It looks much more like a waffle. The other type is a standard cone.

Well this thread is off to a FANTASTIC start. Even the thread starter has called his own vote into question.

Waffle all the way.

MMmmmm

That's a damn Waffle cone, you sillies. Used to work at a damn Ice Cream shop, I better know.

Both are good, but I like sugar. I always liked the way they crunched even though they had a cardboardy taste.

Why the **** didn't you say you were talking about ice cream cones? How is one supposed to figure that out from the original post?

He did say "Cones, that is."

anyway this thread is all kinds of fail.

If I chose it would be the waffle looking one cos I actually like cornettos, but tbh nobody gives a shit it's the ice cream that matters. Machine soft ice cream ftw.

Waffle cones are superior because on hot summer days you can bite off the tip of the cone and alternate between the scoops on top and the soft ice cream coming out the bottom like cake icing.

I find the waffle cone is great because it can hold more icecream effectively. However, the waffle cone tends to be more brittle than the sugar cone, thus mishaps are more likely.

so, if it's one scoop of ice cream, then use sugar cone. anything more and give me a waffle cone.

My favorite kind of cone.

My favourite kind of cone is A MAD PACKED CONE BRO LOL 420 ERRYDAY

A waffle cone, for me, is an exciting diversion. A highlight of the week. I don't think I've ever had more than 2 or 3.

Waffle cones, nom nom nom.

I've had Graeter's in Cincinnati but can't really remember it. Although it's possible the line outside Graeter's was too long and we ended up going somewhere else. And I just realized how bad my memory is!

There's a pretty awesome ice cream place called Glacier in Colorado, which I do remember because I spent a whole summer in Boulder eating ice cream. There wasn't much else to do.

[edit] Wait I think I do remember Graeter's now. I think they have the waffle cones with the ginormous bit of solid chocolate in the bottom? Kinda like in Nestle Drumsticks except MORE chocolate than that?

Neither a waffle nor a sugar cone is the greatest cone. What you all are looking for, friends, is the Pretzel Cone.

Graeters is extremely thick and smooth. Because of that, it's also probably the heaviest ice cream I've ever had.

In all honesty I haven't bought ice-cream that is non-tub form for sooo long, bro.
