ARGH!!! I hate colds!!!

FFS man, anyone else become really REALLY irritated about stupid things when they have a cold? Today in the supermarket i snapped at a woman for walking with her trolley too slowly, even though i couldve just walked around her easily.

And i hate when just one side of your nose gets clogged up. And no matter how much you blow, sneeze and snort and sniff, it just sticks two fingers up at you and refills the nostril. ARGH!!! and when youre lying in bed and it clogs up, then you sit up and it INSTANTLY all goes and you can breathe 100% fine again, ARGH!!!!

So now im sat here sipping lemsip and downing paracetamols to try and cure the congestion and infected blood vessels, but for ***k sake, why cant we cure it yet!?
 
Sudafed, whiskey and DVDs will sort you right out. I have yet to catch my annual bout of common cold yet this year, even though alot of people around my campus are now suffering... im betting it's due to hangovers rather than actual colds however.
 
Im not sure about my campus. im pretty sure its due to these northern winds we've been having in cheltnham, its SOOOO damn cold when the wind blows. maybed i should stop wearing shorts and flipflops now, the summer look is over hehe. hoodies, scarves, beanies, jeans and 3 pairs of socks are now back in style :p

The most sick I have ever gotten in the past 10 years was a stuffy nose.

sudafed will knock you out , if you want to supress those symptoms and concentrate on your work you should try dayquil or benylin.

coldfx is the only medecine that actually cures the cold and not just the symptoms
 
Just get pissed. If you're really drunk you won't notice any malaise.
 
I had freshers flu too. Gone now, only had it for 2 days. Just drink some more booze, pass out and you'll be fine :)

There is no "cure" for the cold. If it does what you're saying, it's simply curing the symptoms long enough for your immune system to get rid of the virus before the ColdFX medicine wears off.
 
Yeah, a wave of it has been going around my school lately. Everyone in my family got sick D:<
 
Wait I just read that paracetamols are aspirin substitutes. Common cold comes from a virus, you're just ****ing up your immune system when swallowing that :|
 
I've got a cold as well, not happy about it and it's turned me into an asshole.

I'm also hungover. And tired.
 
It really sucks when I get a cold. I have horrible sinuses, so whenever I get even a little bit sniffly, both my ears clog up and I get double ear infections within days.

The doctor said I should get ear surgery, but I don't really want to go through with it.

i've had ear surgery twice. If they're putting tubes in your ears you'll feel like a super human with super human hearing abilities because you can hear the SLIGHTEST sound lol it's pretty cool. But a huge drawback to that is you have to wear earplugs in the shower/pool until the ear tubes fall out..and that could take months.

I wonder if that's why when I was little and had those tubes in my ears if a person even took the slightest step in my room I was already jumping out of my bed :O
 
Make ribena with boiling water from the kettle instead of cold water... It goes all vapourey when you drink it and kills all cold symptoms for about half an hour. It's great, works every time.
 
I hate when the nostril plug transfers from one nostril to the other, and there's that part where both of your nostrils gets plugged and when you breath your nose kinda whistles.
 
I have a stuffy nose right now...

Once you've had severe bronchial tuberculosis, you'll never complain about colds again.
