Hi,

My name is Kevin (aka Talnova) and I'm the Project Leader for a mod Called Dracten.
We are a small team, currently working on creating a new game idea. It will include: New ideas and old Gaming ideas, This game will not be boring. as the game play and story, take you through a believaly strange new world.
We are aiming to do this in seven months. We have a small team working on this project, and if you choose to work with us you will be in the design team, made up of Great Musicians, Concept Artists and 3D Modellers. Development has now been underway for a year, so it's still at early stages, considering half life 2 hasn't come out yet. But we do have Concept Art, 3D models, 3d Model Sheets and Documentation ready for you.

We are currently seeking more modellers to fill positions in the design team. The characters created will be strange creatures from a fantasy and science fiction settings, examples in games would be Zelda, Metroid, Halo, Strange creatures. These models will also have to be textured using 3DSMax 6, Maya, Lightwave, etc.

This is a non payed job.
What I can offer you is a team expierence, a chance to build up your portfolio.
We are starting to grow and the game is starting to look quite nice, so please get back to me as soon as you can, I assure you it will be a fun time.

I'd advise people this guy thinks he is god of gaming. So if your working on a project avoid this guy at all costs. I've seen most of his projects fail.

I went to your website, and I still couldnt figure out what the hell the mod was about, so I kept lookin on the page... nope nothin. So I go to features: It says it feels like your playing an action, and a story at the same time...

Since when do gryphons drive vehicles, and destroy powercores, do objectives, and play deathmatch at the same time while having a unique expierience?? This mod apparently, buddy you gotta clean some shit up, write a design doc, and if you have one PLEAAAAAAASE make obvious on your webpage!!! WHAT IS THIS MOD ABOUT????

Also I see your team roster is massive. I have no idea how you got that many people to join, or POSSIBLY explained what this mod is about to all of them. I really doubt you did. I bet if I asked them what its about they too would be clueless. PLEASE update a description that MAKES SENSE!!!

Also, you have like 7 modelers. Why do you need more? I have 1 lol

Since you obviously didn't read the whole site or gameplay link.
I am not going to give out all information about the Storyline or Gameplay.
That would ruin the video game and surprises for everyone.

I have a question for you - care to name a video game where your a griffon really?

Also unlike many games today! you actually have objectives! and you have more options. (this helps with replay value)
I hope you'd agree!

Its not going to be like doom 3 where you have to go around trying to get PDA's and keycards.

Again that can get old fast.

Wow. your more smarter than i thought [no offence intended . i was expecting you to flame back but you didnt instead you just answered my questions] . i know logs can be changed right? but do you have any way of proving what he did? if you do post it up for me. because its your word against his. he got some evidence that you posted false information. but you got nothing to show that he really did all the things that you said he did. if you want to you can email me the logs so that you wont have to worry about anybody saying that you lie or what not. but really. you guys need to stop this fighting. he flamed because you said he did somthing he didnt do. and after he proved that it was misinformation you continue throwing hits at him.

I'm trying to be as unbiased as I can, but, Pendragon's right and has handled the situation like any sane person would. Too bad not everyone is sane.

I didnt like doom 3 anyways, repetitive agreed. For a game that your a griffen archon/archon ultra had griffins =0) oldies. If i wanted to flame you I would just say your mod is crap, instead of going through all the trouble to list reasons why it's flawed... hope you actually finish this one.
 
Dracten would only appeal to furries, which are a bunch of deviant perverts. If you want your mod made, go over to the pervert forums to recruit help.

Closed .. because well I think the reason for that are very obvious.

For the record I think that mod sounds like it has promise but as has been pointed out a lot of it is simply muddled and not explained very well. Sure you have to walk a fine line between telling folks what your gameplay is going to be like and not giving too much away .. I think a little more practice is needed in that area.. speak to anyone who has been watching ns form the beginning .. for me they were almost perfect at fist in terms of pr and info.

Finally : Tal people may not agree with your views they may also criticise aspects of your mod. If you seriously want a future in mod making you have to take a step back and view that dispassionately , Pens and Wilko's comments were just that. Flaming would be "OMFG your MOD R TEH SHITS FU OMGOMG YOU CRAP"

You'll notice neither of them did that.
