Oh wow had the greatest gaming moment ever yesterday playing Kubra Dam
spawned late as an engineer as always at the start of the round and missed all the armour at the main US Base so i waited about three minutes
our commander was off fapping around in the f16s and already our team was down loadsa tickets
i formed a squad, called it armor core and grabbed a newly respawned tank and drove off down the hill into the valley
And there the fun began .... driving from one flag to the nsxt taking them one by one until i had a kill to death ratio of 26 -0 my squad suddenly began filling up and all i was using the mic for was telling my squadmates to get out of the turret and grab the newly respawned tanks as engineers
rounding back to the bridge with me quick messaging follow me to every armored vehicle we passed i was spearheading this monstrous column of armour each jostling the other to get ahead
leading them up to the top of the dam where the unfinished building was i took an anti tank round to the turret to which the AT crews in the building must have been rubbing their hands at this easy kill until my squad and half the damn USMC team comes roaring up the hill behind me firing salvo after salvo into the building, viciously raking the structure with sabots, machine gun 20mm cannon
this was the shit, this was war, as many as 20 vehicles- bradleys, lavs, abrams, t90s, tungkaskas all resupplying and repairing one another
this was carnage as newly respawning troops got mown down, tanks rammed the building to get their guns inside
its hard to describe just how much noise was being generated, the screaming the quick messages - i need repairs -, the engines the weapons
1 minute of slaughter, exhilarating warfare and the flag was taken
having taken the favourite AT position i lead my squad and every else over the dam to the last MEC flag - all ****ing 20+ armoured vehicles
amd it was a slaughter, all the remaing MEC were spawning at that site as we came down the ramp and it was brutal, the noise of all the tanks firing simultaneously, the whum whump of the apc cannon and whoosh of the tow
5 minutes from the time i had grabbed the tank the usmc team controlled every flag and the MEC had 11 tickets left
our commander might as well have been afk for all the use he was but it hadnt mattered
and all the while someone on XFIRE was asking me to join another server to get a game going and i was thinking no ****ing way - i've never had such a damn good round
i hadnt loads of points about 60 enough to get a gold star by a long way but my kill rate was insane and the way my squad had lead this devastating blitzkrieg against the enemy left this really warm glow inside me
during that 5 minutes the adrenaline was pumping, my heart was running a sprint - something that i have never felt before in a game
just thought i'd share my moment -what a game!
