thats exactly how i feel. even though battles did take place in more open environments, i dont think they would work too well gameplay-wise. as infantry, you would need the cover that an urban area would provide, and i think that type of environment is much better depicted on the source engine.Malfunction said:I still disagree.
While what we saw in HL2 was on a small scale of urban fighting, I have no doubt in Source that in can give us great gameplay in a larger environment.
When I'm playing a game in Source, I feel as if I'm really there, while in BF2, it feels like I'm playing a game.
And when I think of a WotW game/mod, I think of urban combat, as in the last fight between U.S. soldiers and a tripod. That environment, which Source could render gorgeously.
