Well, these aren't exactly new, they got released a few days ago, but some of you might not seen them. Obviously they are from the beta.

Warhawk is basically a multiplayer only online third person shooter, quite similar to Battlefield 2, with various gameplay modes included. The singleplayer got scrapped because people who played it thought it was quite weak compared to the multiplayer aspect of the game so Incognito decided to focus on the MP as a result.

There are like 2 types of trees for each level and they recycle them over and over - and they look like crap. Whats with that right angle tree branch in the first picture. Looks like PS2.

In picture 2 the left and right side of the screen are mirror images of each other. AHAHAHAA

I thought Warhawk was supposed to be some flying game with the bounce off the mountains 'hard to controller'.


Too bad there is no rumble feature in the controller so at least one could have some fun that way

The release date is said to be September 4th. You can either get it via PS Store or retail (which is said to feature extra content and a bluetooth headset)

Stop trolling. Unless you are blind you can see the polygon count on that tree in the first picture is terrible. The branch doesn't even look natural. The branch goes at a really strange angle. It looks like PS2 to me or I wouldn't have said it. For example, Resident Evil 4 for PS2 - the trees are horribly low on polygons and look like that.

And yeah, in the second picture, the trees all look the same - there are like 2 variations. 20 trees, and most of them look the exact same. In Oblivion, I never noticed even two trees being identical in the entire world.

And the controller feature makes games hard to control. Did you watch the E3 conference? The guy demoing the game (who probably helped make the game) couldn't even control it right! It was a joke.

They look alright. You can tell the game was designed around the flying portion because it looks significantly better. Besides, it's a downloadable game that won't retail at full price, it's ok if the graphics aren't as good as some other games, they're good enough.

Why is the PC not competition for the PS3? Sony directly marketed it against the PC platform. Thats the funny thing, in their press conference, they went on to demo GT5 saying how this game couldn't be done on any other platform, yet it was demo'd on a PC.

Yes, the beta is easy to get. You download the file from a PC, rename it, put it in a certain folder on the PS3 and then run the Folding @ Home program which launched the setup. Then you can play.

The PC isn't really in competition with any of the consoles nearly so much as they are with each other. But fine, since you want to deliberately misinterpret what I said and change the subject from my original point then yes - there are better downloadable PC games available than Warhawk. However there aren't any better downloadable console games across the three platforms, with the possible exception of a few "classics." I hope that was crystal clear enough for you.

As far as me not liking Saints Row because it's on 360 ... that's just dumb. I like plenty of games that are on 360, and am looking forward to a few coming out. I don't like Saints Row, it sucks. The game itself is pretty mediocre, but the fact that they so blatantly ripped off GTA is what makes me dislike it so much. It's so unoriginal, and it's just painful to see them try and steal GTA's sense of humor while totally missing the point. But I can see why people like you would like it, so don't worry.

It is dumb man. You slandered the name of this game like I've never seen before. Lucky for some PS3 owners, supposedly they are making a PS3 version of the game, so they won't miss out on a decent game because it is too similar to GTA for your liking. After all, GTA is one of the most popoular games of all time, and I'm sure there are plenty of bored to death PS3 owners who would love to have a decent game to play.

I've never even played it. You must have me confused. A few of my friends told me it's really amazing, and some people on this forum said it's great. I may have said it looks pretty cool to me, and it does. If it came out for the PC, i'd give it a shot.

It seems to me you promote games for the PS3 whether you like them or not, in order to come up with reasons to try to justify buying a PS3.
