Warzone (working title) is a project based around the game Killzone for the PS2. The one thing that demolished that games chance at success was the technology. Everything else was spot on. Warzone could be considered a direct-port, in some respectful manner. As a designer I know that I can't completely copy the games name, art and so on, however, we can base things around those components and create something original. That way I won't get FOXED for doing something out of sheer love for a game I enjoy.
The game will be played online with a possible single player "episode" that will be released as a techdemo. Killzone captured the intensity of a fire fight and I plan on pushing it further using Source technology and its endless possibilities. Currently Warzone is a new comer and will need to up the ante if it is to fit in Half-Life 2's flourishing mod community. That said, I'm looking for a 2d/3d artist to help me flesh out some of the concepts I have in mind. It would help if you've played the game. Leave a message here or PM me. I will be responsible for writing, directing and level design. And some prop-modelling when it is needed.
