Was it worth my money back then

An XFX Geforce 7800 GS 256Mb (Only Card Bundle) bought for 520 Singapore Dollars which probably means 250 Dollars US. I bought this exactly 1.6 years ago mind you and my system only supports AGP, and this was the best AGP card for it's time.

So, was it worth my cash? Some friends of mine say I have been ripped off badly.

well that's GBP176, for 2005 it is slightly overpriced but I wouldn't say badly.

Those cards were more expensive as AGP parts. You paid more for the card but didn't end up paying for a new motherboard/CPU for PCI-express. Ripped off? nah
