That strange thing is a new feature - "multi quote". You can select a number of quotes to include in your reply, not just one.

Munrownage, you should probably put a sticky about all the new updates.

Without any sort of visual indicators, most people will be stumped about the infraction points. And without any sort of explanation, most people will probably not know wtf multiquoting is (I know I don't).

You know what you should do, is when you give an infraction, have the offending post "marked" for everyone to see. This would not only make people aware of what you shouldn't do, but it will discourage people from joining in on spam fests.

Also, can you remove the extra space between quotes when you multi-quote? It's unnecessary.

Hmm, can you see a red card at the bottom right-hand corner of john3571000's and The Monkey's posts on the first page? I was wondering if that was a moderator only thing, because if everyone can see it, then it's exactly as you described, and would be pretty useful.
