Washing Machine Puzzle

I'm at the ramp that needs to be weighed down by cinder blocks etc. and ultimately the washng machine from the platform above. I have the ramp raised to its max but cant't jump the fence. I'm on foot. Should I have a hover craft at this point? Any help is appreciated! Thanks.
 
LOL u need the ****ing mudskipper!! thats the "hover craft" boat type thing. restart the chapter and look for it, a woman gives it to you
 
You get the hovercraft right after you first encounter zombies... I don't know how people miss it.. just follow the wood planks
 
You got that far without the airbot?

you must push the washing machine and pull the lever... that should create a ramp that will enable you to cross the fence.
 
I went into God mode. I'm I'm backtracking but can't find the sandskipper. Where exactly is it??
 
look at the ground ahead of you and type impulse 83 in the console.
 
Impuse 83 and Impuse 82 do not work, even though I'm in console mode. What's up?
 
Hmmm with sv_cheats 1 typing impulse commands should work...

Oh and I'm impressed you got that far w/out the air boat :p
 
what is sv_cheats 1? If you get me through this there's a beer or three in it for you.
 
lol...oh man, thats what im thinking how do you just like walk past the boat? It would be like walking past the car.

p.s. when you get to the car scene itll be the object with 4 wheels and a circular disk connected at the center to a middle rod, the disk faces a seat which is used for holding normally shaped humans in one general spot. Make sure you look hard.

haha, that would be funny, dosen't get the car, he just walks the whole way.

I can just see it. He finally beats the game and says "hell, i don't know what people were saying about this being a 20 odd hour game. It took be 70 hours to beat the game. And damn, did that highway 17 level ever take long, i wish I had a car or something, that would have ROCKED!!!!!"
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this like the 5th or 6th "I don't have the airboat" thread we got recently? :p How can one miss the airboat? You can see the woman putting petrol in it coming from a mile away.
 
well he said he put god mode one, so i assume he would just put on noclip when he got to that part.
 
If you really want you can just put in noclip and walk through the fence.. but thats if you really dont want the craft.
 
How did he get past the part where you have to raise the jump with the barrels(the ones you used to make the ramp float up)? That's liek a 20 ft gap!

LMAO hahahaha yea, wouldnt be suprised if some people already have done it before, they just look at the car/airboat and say to themselfs "i wish i could ride that, oh well time to sprint!!"
 
sv_cheats 1 and then type ch_createairboat

Speedrunners don't use the buggy...
 
Players with a reasonable amount of skill don't use cheats.
(I'm not the world's best FPS-er, but I completed it on hard first time thru)
 
You had no problems using Godmode and Noclip to get through previous unaccomplishable-without-the -airboat parts, so why do you have a problem now? :-/
 
I can see how you could miss the airboat, but you'd have to be a pretty uninquisitive player to do so - it's round the corner of a tunnel at fork in your path.
 
You know, I think I might try doing Water Hazard without using the airboat to move ahead...

Well, that was good for all of five minutes. Turns out that radiatiated puddle right after the blue barrel puzzle is unpassable w/o the airboat.

He doesn't even know what sv_cheats 1 is, so he doesn't know how to use god mode or noclip!
 
Just go back to where there are the zombies and headcrabs and all that electric stuff.

dude, one question, how do u get into god mode and not know what sv_cheats 1 is????
