In the case of recounting twice and losing, and keep going until you finally win the recounts, I feel there should be another done to verify again... along with an investigation into things like this.

I love how the guy goes on to trash democrats, when this is the first time I've ever heard of it. It hasn't been on any of the major news channels... EVEN FOX... I would know, they have it on every damn TV in the place where I work (there's a lot of TVs). Odd though, I would have thought that FOX would have picked up an easy opportunity to poke at a democrat.

Lots of Democrats didn't get to vote because local county boards screwed up on sending out absentee ballots in time. If you want to count vote problems, then there are thing to cite on all sides, not just one side.

Of course, NOW Republicans are apparently okay about whining about vote fraud, when before anyone that did that was by definition a "sore loser." Hypocrites.

I am angered about the problems in Washington, but that is at a state level, is iffy, and even without any problems the vote is still one by about a hundred either way.

There is no excuse for comparing the Ukranian frauds and massive abuses of democracy with something that happened in Washington.

Ukraine's vote was not 'a bit iffy' - it was a total fraud.

I was fine with a recount in Florida. It didn't change the valid results.

In this situation, the opposing side called a recount- still lost. Then demanded another, lost, then another and won, by not a lot. Then it comes out that there were dead names registered. I think it deserves an investigation. Also with the numerous 'enhanced' ballots with the original marks obscured, etc. Everything is fishy.

Here is the problem, when Democrats wanted a recount (in the Washington election) Republicans attacked them for bitching. Now that the tables are turned around there is something suddenly fishy going on?

When the democrats complained of problems (real problems) in the US election they were called tin foil hat conspiracy theorists. Sure, in the Washington race there were some dead voters registered, in the US election in Ohio black areas had lines as long as 5 hours while the white areas had no lines, machines in democratic areas broke down or were locked out, people were calling poor democrats and telling them the election would be on the 3rd, thousands upon thousands of ballots were thrown out without reason, electronic machines didn't match exit polls while paper ballots did, Kerry votes would 'flip' for Bush on the voting screen when voters confimed their vote, no paper records were available for evoting, many blacks were told after waiting hours in line that they were in the wrong area to vote when they were actually in the right one. I could go on but my fingers hurt. And you want to say something is fishy here while everything is ok in Ohio?

I'm haven't been following Washington as intently as I would like, but can't you come up with a more credible source? I checked out the main page and wasn't impressed. They make Newscorp look like saints.

That said, we are in bad need of election reforms. Sadly that won't happen.

I live in washington, and have been hearing talk radio, newspapers and so on talking about this for a long time. The election system here is (in King County, where I live) is in shambles, and needs to be fixed very quickly. The fact that it took 3 seperate recounts, with some of the most rediculous practices going on. Democrats "finding" another 1500 king county votes (KC is the most populated, and very Left voting, remember) "finding" another 300 votes, its incredible.

Rep win #2: Dems say, no no no not ALL the votes have been counted. Because of the democrat legislature, we will get a manual recount just to make SURE all the votes of the dead, of the double votes, of the fraud voters will be counted... and sometimes counted more than once!
Dem win #3: Yup all the votes have been counted now, now we should close our wounds and go forward into the same, state driven economy that has had our state suffering for the past 2 decades. Same old same old.

A entire revote is needed, because we simply cannot have faith in who our governor is right now. Not only that, but many WA state soldiers in iraq havent gotten their ballots counted either.

Wrong. Count one: Rossi came out ahead by 261 votes. That's 0.009%. As you can imagine, Washington State election law demands an automatic machine recount with such a margin. The Democrats did not request the first recount - it was mandated by our law. Rossi's lead was shortened by 219 votes to 42, or roughly 0.0015%. Keep in mind that no one was screaming fraud throughout this. Washington State election law then allows a party to ask for a hand recount if they fork over the money. They don't have to recount all of the counties, but Gregoire asked and paid for a recount of all the counties anyway. The vote count changed by 171, less than the machine recount changed it, and suddenly it's fraud.

Frankly, no one cares about disenfranchised voters. If they did, they would have brought up military voters sooner. If they cared what they really wanted, they wouldn't ask for a special election just for governer, but an entirely new vote for all of our races, including governer, state and federal congressmen, judges, initiatives, etc. In Washington state, a tie is supposed to be settled by lot. Since this race is virtually a tie (a 0.00anything% margin is totally insignificant), why not just flip a coin?

Suggesting that there is a Democrat conspiracy is just nuts. If Democrats cared that much about the election, they would have put forward a stronger candidate, or put more effort into Gregoire's campaign, which was remarkably pitiful. Either would be much easier and much less expensive than fraud.

For the record, I don't like Gregoire and I'm not a Democrat.
