Wasn't hyped for halo2

Hl2 isn't really pushing boundaries, infact, its just probably at the top of the list
no breathing time before the next assault
You get to breathe, infact, to much breathing time.
not cutscene
There was plenty of cutscenes, alot of them for halo 2
The magazine people know better then to get to hyped and expect more then the game offers, they know how it works, you get what you see most of the time, and its there opinion, not yours, its one persons opinion for you to base your opinion off of, i find that lots of magazines have decent ratings, except for this one that gave hl2 a 0 because he couldn't review it, ba****d

Out of interest - was that on Legendary?? (if so i'll be very annoyed :/)

Halo was always very easy and short on the easier difficulty levels - they are just for practise only ;) - before you start the 'real' game.

I don't count boosting the enemies HP harder. I call it BS I would call a game harder if the higher difficulty levels had smarter AI than the lower difficulty levels.

Who cares how it's achieved when the end result is convincing, making the difference between a very easy and rather average experience and a very tough and rewarding one (it was the same with the original)

The game only starts asking questions of the player on the harder settings - otherwise it's little more than Quake 2 with a joypad.

//edit - the main difference is the enemy actually feel dangerous, something to fear (as opposed to bumbling idiots that can't shoot for shit). It's so much more tense and exciting.

It's a common technique used in many games. One fears the enemy thus playtime increases. Instead of wiping out a room of enemys you have to sneak around picking one off at a time.

I'm not sure about Halo 2 SP (I've only played the mp which is good so far) but Halo 1 on legendary on my comp was a peice of cake.

Sure, many games do this ......... very few do it right, without it feeling 'cheap'.

Not only do the enemy have more health, they're also far more accurate. It is a completely different experience playing on Legendary - and far more enjoyable (so much so that that on normal difficulty I found the original Halo to be very average. On the hardest setting it is one of my favourite games - the difference is that much)

Halo was also easy on the pc full stop - it's very hard on the XBox.

wholy shit i couldnt agree with u more. The feel for halo when comapiring the two on pc and xbox... are completely different.

PEACE
