You know... this is a very big hit for a company such as valve... they work and work for 5 years to keep this game under wraps... and in 6 months, the very people they were working to please stole the product from them, and released it to the masses.... Not the full product mind you.. but after how much trouble they went through to keep it quiet, releasing only a few pictures and videos..... this is devistating... i wouldn't be surprised if a few of our "beloved" valve spokesperson's take their life over this..... 5 years.. well.. not wasted... but damn..... think about it........

i don't think valve were working for 5 years to please the hackers.
the 5 years is not wasted,they still have the best game ever on there hands..and any game is certainly not worth taking your life over!
its a bad situation for valve,and i feel for them-but it still amazes me that they could be so lax with security!storing the game and source code on a machine connected to the net..asking for trouble if you're a high profile company.

Serves them damn right for delaying the damn game! Stupid as hell, and a shame of course, but if they had only stuck to their original release date, no one would care about a dumb hacked version of unfinished code.

Smarten up Valve and just release the game already!
