Water Hazard - Boat Jump Bug?

Okay, I'm at the part where it's a dead end (there's a half sunken ship) and 2 truck things firing missles at me that can be destroyed with the gun on my boat. You have to make this little jump over a gate to get to a small area underneath both of the trucks. Once over that you're behind the big wooden log supports and there is a ramp that allows you to jump into another tunnel.
I have taken out the trucks with the missles, and attempted the jump maybe 30 times before giving up and quitting. Every single time I jump off the ramp, no matter what the speed or angle, as soon as I reach the other ramp I'm supposed to land on my boat immediately flips upside down and backwards.
It feels as if I'm hitting an invisible wall. In fact thats the best way I can describe it. Jumping higher, faster, from the side, dead on...none of it is working.
Anyone else encounter this? My worst fear is that somehow this part is bugged or glitched for me.

I have yet to use any cheats, but I wonder if there is something I could do to get the airboat up there. Any ideas?

I know that this problem is not just me being stupid. It crashes into something when there is nothing there every single time.

Sorry, but thats serioulsy the best advice I can offer becasue you should just be able to jump that.

You dont get your air boat up there.
From view on last screen you gave...go right...and there you shoot some wood (or something ledging on the wood (I dont know how do you say those wood that support platform)to go through.
You will be on the other side of those wood that support platform

I have some invisible wall problem later on...I had to load previous saves.

You should't jump over anything to get under the pier.

You need to go into as container on the other side of the half sunken ship. If you walk into it you will see some explosive barrels. Blow them up and the container door will blow off allowing you to drive under the pier.

This needs to be done to allow some invisible wall to drop and let you make the jump. The little jump you did to get under the pier shouldn't be possible really and is a bug.

1/ you dont need to blow the container to get you bike on the other side.
2/ just lower your speed when jumping, I had the same problem
3/ there is no invisible wall

"Noclip" would get you up there but a cheat will only spawn the airboat without the gun, as far as I know.

You could try a map code to load that part of that level and play over it again as the bugs can disappear by doing that.

Which map code you need, you will see when you bring up the console and look to the top right of the screen. The current map code of where you are will look like "d2_canals_07" or something. Type into the console

map [and the code you saw]

And that will reload before the bug on the same level but much closer than a full level restart would.

It turns out there IS an invisible wall on that jump, and if you don't blow up the red barrels to drive through the container you're never gonna make it over.
Once I destroyed the red barrels I made the jump easily on the first try.
