We need a place to talk about books.

Assuming there wasn't already one and it failed because of lack of interest :\.

Book threads hang out in off-topic, they usually do very well in there. However they are few and far between, and have never been enough to warrent a forum of it's own.

Also sig length 4/5 lines, cheeeeers!

There are hardly any books threads, it's like making a sub-forum called "Albino Support Forum"

When it becomes a problem, they usually make a sub-forum

I was just thinking this a couple days ago. I forget why. Anyway, the point was, I just figured I'd put it on OT. Which is what you should do.

People who type in this forum hardly read book.

WRONG!

I love books. Reading is one of my favorite pasttimes.

ya, it was a joke....and interesting words to put together, non-intellectual and nub :)

There is no point for a book forum. Thats what off topic is for...Unless valve comes out with Gordon Potter

What's your nose so brown for? Oh.

Anyway, Siacker, no real need for a book forum at the moment. Just make a thread in Off-Topic - they pop up occasionally, not nearly enough demand for a literature forum yet :)

Making friends from myspace Chris? I'm disappointed in you! :)

A book forum wouldn't do too well :\
And to whoever said people here don't read books - speak for yourself.

I thought I'd just ask - where am I supposed to post a thread on some non-source game? Oblivion and BF2 aren't the only other games.

I have phases of reading voraciously, and then phases of not reading anything more involving that the newspaper. Last few books I've read were:
American Psycho (amazing)
Vernon God Little (ok. like a modern Huckleberry Finn, only half not as good)
High Fidelity (pretty boring. Curiously like Adrian Mole. Protaganist comes across as a bit of a tosser is the main problem to me)

Um everything else I've started reading lately, I've not finished.
