Just a FAQ - READ BEFORE POSTING kinda thing, the list some of the most asked questions, would cut down on the number of new threads, as well as some of the flambing going around.

Things to add:

Delay - "no"
Pay to Play - "Proably not"
Combine AI - "Toned down"
Multiplayer - "nothing known. Definately not Team Fortress 2"

EDIT: This is a dumb idea when you've just suggested that the Source Engine should be used for porn?

that is a good idea but nubs dont read stickys

we should also have a sticky for older members: you were a noob too at one point, so dont be an asshole

and a general to everyone: dont waste space by putting your goddamn comp specs in your sig, I dont really care what your running for a rig, nor do I need to be shown it every time you post.

And you think I care about what you think? No, not really. Oh and No I am not gonna get rid of my Sig either... I think im gonna put some real specific specs in there too... like my mother board model number, chipset, speaker brand, floppy drive, Pentium 4 sticker...

oh and btw go represent atlantic canada somewhere else if ur gonna be a troll :flame:

Sir yes sir.

I am trolling for pointing out your waste of space signature and that older members forget that they were the ones asking the dumb questions about a month or 2 ago. Anyways, I dont care, leave your sig, make it longer, yippee, looks to me like your trying to overcompensate for something.

I think this is a good idea. Just basic instructions about the importance of things like giving your posts informative titles, and putting some serious thought into whether to start a new thread.

Ha zorg got banned. *snicker*

The noob-sticky is a good idea, i always read such threads when i'm new to a certain board. It's just basic i think, to know what the do's and don'ts are.
I'm quite pleased with the moderators here, they do their job well. Although i've never seen moderation so good as on the Neocron forums. The moderation there was ab-so-lutely fantastic. Odin (lead moderator) and the other ones were the most fair, thorough, consequent moderators i've ever seen. I bet it helps that they do it as their 'job', as in: they go there from 9 to 5, and they get paid. Some were based in Germany, some were working in America, some did it in the weekends, some during the week, so the boards were monitored almost 24/7. But you can't really expect that from non-professional moderators, so no disrespect to the mods here. Great job guys! *removes nose from ass* :)

Show user's signatures in their posts? yes no

tick "no" and be happy.

well that would solve one problem ;)
I still dont see the need though for posting specs in your sig, is it so that you can have a constant reminder of how |337 your rig is?

anyways, thanks for the tip
