Future warrior incorporates reactive armor. (Google it if you don't know what I'm talking about. It's a total revamp of Army BDU's/armor)

But it's heavy, and men are already overburdened as it is (Hence switching to the XM-8 rifle, it's lighter) Any weight increase is not applicable.

Force Warrior (Contract already awarded I think) on the right and Future Warrior on the left (in development)
