As a web developer myself that has huge respect for physics I find this totally awesome.

I always find myself amazed that at the core of many of our most modern energy sources, is the simple end result of steam. We just have different ways of generating the heat to produce the steam.
 
Yeah, to get any kind of siginificant electric energy a turbine is the way to go. That's why the only realistic use of solar is by focusing the energy on a single point to boil water then run a turbine off the steam. Solar cells are a joke.

Pretty cool guy, thumbs up. No matter how awesome it may sound, fusors are just 50 years old tech toys, nothing more. Few years ago I was thinking about building one in my lab but it's very expensive and not easy thing to do...
