personally, I think there are more important things to worry about then marijuana use, even though I haven't used it in years.

They have not provided any scientific evidance to prove that this statement is true. However, even if its true the fact is people don't some 20 joints a day while I know many people that smoke a pack of cigs a day on a regular basis. Besides, most people will quit smoking weed around early 20s, some might go into the early 30s but it usually stops there. People smoke cigs up until they are on their deathbed at 65, even 80.

Mo. and decided with my friend that we should take 2 grams of shrooms each. I had the worst trip of my entire life and almost ended up wanting to kill myself (thank god we locked up my friends gun before we did these, I spent half the night looking for the key until some sense finally hit me). After that I still did shrooms once in a blue moon but I was exremely cautious.

People stop smoking weed around 20 because they grow out of the ooo man i gotta be cool and get high with my freinds because its fun and its cool phase. if weed was legal like cigs they would smoke weed just as long.

Yes, the fact I almost killed myself because of drugs makes me want to legalize them :rolleyes:. Just for your information, I am 23 now and I do not smoke and haven't done so in over 3 years. All of the people I still keep in touch with that I smoked with back in HS don't smoke. Do me a favor and don't reply to mature discussions with your immature comments that make no sense.
 
Its just odd how you continue to say things like "im not proud of those days............i agree smoking weed has negative effects..........i could have killed myself........." and the rest, yet you continue to support the idea that weed should be legalized, spreading these aweful experiences to other people who would not have ever smoked if it wasnt legal.

That made you look like a complete dumbass. The older you get the less likely you are to be infulanced by peer pressure so being cool has nothing to do with it. Fact is that people stop smoking around their 20s because they want to stop. People that smoke cigs also want to stop but they can't so they continue to smoke for the rest of their life. Something being legal or illegal has absolutely nothing to do with it. Once again, if you don't provide some good evidance I am done replying to your posts.

The fact that I've done it and have known people that have done it gives me a lot more credibility than you. Yes, I did do drugs. I am not proud of that just like I am not proud of driving over the speed limit. However, I enjoyed getting high and if I still had the love for it I would do it. This love left me when I was in my late 19s as I had other things to worry about in my life. If weed was legal or not I would still quit at the exact same time.

Im not addicted. Some times I do it a few days in a row, ive toked up prolly like 6 times in 3 days b4. Ive also gone like 3 months without it. You dont have to quit because your never addicted. Thats like saying you should quit being an alcoholic because you go to the bar on fridays.

I am officially out of this debate between me and ewok, he can not handle a mature discussion so I will not waste my time. I have to go to work tomorrow so I am going to bed, if there are some mature replies to one of these weed threads I will take my time to reply, but if its the same idiotic shit posted by Ewok I will simply ignore it as its a complete waste of time since he tap dances around the facts and comes up with the same BS argument that has been disproven many times.

Nexttime u step infront of your computer, see if u can turn it off and unplug it for a while. if U cant then ur addicted.

I realised I am addicted to my computer...........................I NEED CAA(Computer addicts annomous) FAST!! Screw that it makes me feel good hahahah. Computers are as bad as weed!! :p

On the topic of the discussion, I think would agree with NoLimit, legalization wouldn't hurt our society at all. The people getting drunk right now would be the only ones using it at dangerous level. Everyone else would be ok.

I don't insist, its just that I have personally seen more violent/worrying behaviour from drunk people than those same people on hash.

If people claim that hash is "damaging to society" then I claim that alcohol is more damaging to society, so lets get rid of that too. Yes, you guessed it I don't drink. Funny that, eh?
 
It's only because so many more ppl drink regularly than smoke weed regularly that it damages society more.

I don't drink either.
