I've got a weekend of time to kill, was wondering if I should get crysis warhead or clear skies. Advice?

Clear Sky. Warhead is the same uninspired crap that Crysis was.

Simply Not true.

Warhead is actually alot of fun. Better than Crysis was by far IMO & after giving Crysis a chance & actually playing through the entire game, (My 4850 made it all possible & the DX10 WinXP tweak helped as well) I found crysis to be a decent time passer. Sadly Warhead is a very very short "expansion" which was sad as Warhead does improve upon the entire original Crysis game. By adding new weapons, visuals & general overall game fixes. Beatable in an afternoon of solid gaming or over a weekend.

I have not tried Clear Sky. It looks great from the screenshots I have seen, but the reviews of the game are less-than-flattering. I do not know how long it is.

Warhead if you don't mind it being short, saying that the gameplay contained in that short time is excellent.

Got Clear Skies but I have not finished Stalker yet, so I don't really want to play it, but I really can't be arsed with Stalker as it seems alot of going back anf forth from what I've played so far.

If you loved Crysis you'll like Warhead, if you thought Crysis was uninspired, generic and yet pretty/entertaining, you'll find Warhead the same. Haven't played Clear Skies yet.

As buggy and unpolished as Stalker was, it still holds a warm, if prickly, place in my heart. I just loved the atmosphere.

Any verdict on whether Clear Skies is as buggy/unoptimised?

Preach it, brothah.

@MiccyNarc

Please don't call it "Clear Skies" -_-
It's called "Clear Sky" for a reason.

Warhead has its bugs, but I'm guessing ClearSky will have them too

I'm playing Pokemon Blue on an emulator over either of these despite owning both of them. Beat that.

wow pokemon blue, I loved that version more than I did my red. Very very great games though.

I wish I could have them back along with my gameboy color.

Excuse me oh great one, I beseech thine forgiveness for forgetting the name of a computer game.

Anyway, just bought Clear SKY, will be playing it tomorrow :D

Warhead does not have any bugs Mind giving me a few?

Personally, I'd recommend Warhead as your weekend fix, shorter faster action I guess. Clear Sky would take a while, so not a good Weekend fix.

Haven't played Clear Sky, which is probably a good game, but on the case of Warhead, don't believe any of the naysayers like Stigmata, they are probably the same bunch of ignorant people who had problems with Crysis and are just taking it out on the game and company again. I assure you, if Crysis was alright with you (Hardware and gameplay and all) , Warhead won't disappoint. It's more optimized, more fun and has better battles and AI.

Ive played Warhead and currently playing Clear Sky. Id go for Warhead.

Torn between mediocrity. There's good games coming out next month, save your pennies :)

Clear Sky.

Upgradeable Weapons (vs Non-upgradeable Weapons) + Faction Wars (vs One-sided war) + More Gameplay Time (20hrs vs 6hrs) = Winner !

Not the best weekend gaming fix, but this is good. An extra 10 dollars got me pretty much limitless playing time. This game rocks.

I'll get warhead for christmas probably.
