Weekly Modeling Competition?

hmmm good rules. Why not lauch it today, like now. GO GO GO! We need at least 2 weeks or 1 mounth for submissions though :D since its modellign and it takes time.

I'd say go with 2 week entries, unless its a character model then maybe a month. You could specify when you do the contest wether its a 2 week or month contest.

wow, people do listen to me. i strongly recommend 2 week contests. i couldnt be bothered waiting a month to start the next model. this contest could let me attempt to make stuff other than guns. so it could be fun. ill give em a go.

im in too, one question, does it have to be completely Origional....? :smoking:

Depends on what the theme is about and what u are asked to do.

ok so 44 don't work, how do u quote properly? or do i have to manually type it?

I follow #12 in general life anyway.
Would you require a wireframe too because whenever anyone posts a model on the forums people want a wireframe of it and it would make it easier to evaluate the models.
I would think that doing it monthly would be a good idea because it would allow for more people to enter the contest and the main problem that the art contest has sometimes is lack of entries and since a modelling competition would proabably be something which would have less potential entrants than the art contest the biggest problem I could see would be lack of entrants.

I reckon in the case of modeling comps, the models/scenes should be made publicly available. But with T&C's such as no use without authors permission etc. wireframe images can still be faked but the actual model itself has to be really there.
