Well, seenas tho no-one made a thread for this I thought I would.

Here's my first entry for this week anyway.. come on guys tho, I wanna see some one elses! :)
 
I reckon this could use a mention on the main page again mods :afro:
 
Hehe, I like it. And the waldo in the back was a nice touch too :).
And on a side note, I like how you added the holiday touch to your avatar, I shall do the same soon.
 
that's great! im doing a corker right now, will post it when odone, maybe an hour or so ;o

Yeah, I'll do one this week (if I can think of a good idea). And by the way, hope you don't mind.. but I jacked your idea and made my avatar 'holiday' themed also ~ notice the santa hat on the computer. I think you'll catch on to the rest of the holiday stuff lol. Let me know what you think ;).

lol, it aint my idea.

The mods have been asking for fesive avatars in Gen OT for a few days now :p

say what? lol. I don't really understand what you are asking. A pic of some kid that said pwned? sorry, I'm just a little tired. You could be making sense and i could just be going crazy or something

have improved my first entry... sorted out shadow problems, added text etc etc....

has been posted as second entry
 
Thanks for the comments guys. I just adjusted the hue so it would blend in.
 
SilentKilla, i think you're thinking of Ichi, the on ehtat had the chinese kid getting his jab, and hes got his mouth open and all his friends are laffing at him from behind ?? thats classic, i love it :thumbs:
 
In case I haven't been obvious enough, Samuelk did the HL2 > SouthPark character conversion. But I made the picture so I got to put my name first. woohoo!
 
Yes, it was a good topic this week. Posted my submission just in time I guess. Could we have a "create your cartoon" topic one of these weeks? I think that would make some good submissions too.

May the best man win.
 
thanks fenric the face took a lot of time but its still not quite there ...anyways im happy i got in a entry this time.
my favourites so far are the panty raider, pirates of the source and how to loose a demo in 10 days nice work all

About your entry, I think "the game who wasn't there", should have been "the game that wasn't there" :p
Still nice work though.

Lot's of very good entries this week, picking the best one will be tough:)
 
Well, I know, but when I put "that", it just didn't look good, and it didn't reflect to the already not so known movie anymore. And HL2 is big enough to be considered a person, don't you agree? If you don't, I suggest you make sure "he" never finds out;).

[edit: damned that smiley looks like it got punched in the eye or something]
 
So far my favorites are Mister Migginz' and phates, oh and of course mine *toot* *toot*!

Element you should of tried using the original poster image for that movie.

lol naa stone, yours was funny, especially as it didn't need editing, all the funnier actually being called that for real :)

chu hasnt done anything that I didnt do I dare say, its just that mine is less obvious :D j/k

choose image, cut out, alter hue saturation/lighting, blend in with original image, add new text, blend again... done .. kinda. :/
 
Well I also had to alter light direction on Gordon's face. The light and shadows were on the wrong side. Plus I took out the sword and drew in the crowbar.

So I dare say I am two steps on you. :thumbs:
 
I'm afraid I have you both beat actually. In order to complete my photoshop I had to sacrifice a hundred virgins and steal the souls of three members of congress. And that was for the source images alone. I think the least I should be rewarded with is the winning of this contest.
 
well i just put forum mods and admins name's in palce of the peoples names on the dvd....so i win :D oh and some other changes to stuff, but meh
 
Aren't we suppose to be voting anytime soon?

Well, I tryed it, but getting "man" replaced by "game" and changing the faces in the background of the fonts seemed to hard to do that way. I lost a lot of time getting all the faces aligned and coherent.
I reckon a rating sticker or two with some unreadable credits could have made it more dvd-ish.
