Well I fixed the sound stuttering problem for myself, this might help

Oddly enough after banging my head against the wall for hours upddating sound card drivers and doing nosound console commands etc.. I tried setting all the graphic options that have to do with texture memory (textures and shadows) to their lowest setting and BAM suddenly the game plays fine,, it only has one of thoes super annoying pauses once every 20 or so minuites,,,

so for anyone with that problem.... give that a shot,,, I know it's not a direct fix,, but it at least allowed me to play the game....

Of course if this bug didnt exist in the first place we would not have to clear up ram to allow it to run its course.
