Warning some of this thread may include spoilers. go away if you are sensative. I don't think they are spoiler enough for spoiler tags, however.

Well I just beat Fable for the X box. :smoking:

It turned out to be shorter than I would want. Short and sweet.
I guess there is alot more I could have played, if I would have done more quests.

EDIT: the game isn't necessarily short, it just isn't long

It seems there is a point in the game were you can drop all the quests you are working on, and just finish the game(fight boss)

I'll play through it again, and this time I wont have a  halo hovering above my head if you know what I mean  :flame:

I just love the combat. I never realy found a use for the Bow or the fireballs/lightning much though.
I created a straight brawler, I think the battle system is pretty awesome. not perfect, but very close.

I love RPG's, but I hate battle menu driven RPG's. I like real-time RPG's like Fable and Phantasy Star Online where you actually get to play the game.

Menu driven RPG's can be fun In a different way becuase of the strategy of deceiding what attacks to use when, etc. but it is usually a little boring.

Fable is an action fest.

I want to play though it again and this time choose different spells and weapons.

What a great game, would like to see it ported to the PC, with higher resolution textures, or Fable II for PC or Next Box.

Anyone have a real-time RPG of modern times to recommend?

EDIT: WAIT A minute... is it over? after the credits rolled, now Im still playing.. hrmmm

The game isn't over after all.
:D

Fable was good, but I had been built up so much from the beginning by Peter Molyneaux so I was disappointed how small it was.

I did like the game, but I could've used some random-quest generator or something to do after you beat the main game plot. The amount of side-quests were a bit lacking for me as well. The most disappointing thing I thought was that there were no secrets or unlockables :( Only the stuff behind demon doors.

speaking of unlockables I never did have enough silver keys to open any locked chests... (please don't spoil it for me and tell me whats in them though)

I'm gonna give you a hint.....

Stuff

I never got the max amount but I know what's in them all.

I never did get married or buy a house ;(

That one woman that is dressed to kill that wants a black rose.. wouldn't mind marrying her in the game
