Well It's been confirmed

The PLayStation 3 has utterly and completly wooped the 360's ass. I have never seen so many excellent launch titles for anyother system before, the amount of great looking and fun games for the system is insane. The technology behind it is also mindblowing. Just look at these games-

Killzone 2= Looks incredible, if this isn't a Halo killer, then i dont know what is.

Tekken 6= Looks awesome, though didn't get to see any gameplay.

Fight Night:R3= Looks AWESOME and is going to be a blast

Devil May Cry4= Didn't see much game footage but hey, they seem to be on the right track now so this will undoubtedly be awesome.

Killing Day= Looks incredible

I-8= Titles a little odd, but the game looks awesome

Motor Storm= Looks like it could be a blast to play with friends

5th Phantom Saga= Interesting...

i-8 looks great, the whole vid was 100%ingame so no 'was it rendered' blabla, it looked awesome, that killing day screen is nice too, why has noone mentioned the new gran turismo, did noone see it? it looked awesome.

From a marketing a hype perspective, yes the PS3 has beaten the X-Box 360.

I dont know about that, the games do look awesome on x360, but PS3 IMO has been the only one to impress me so far in the console market.

I suspect most of those screenshots are prerendered...only 5th Phantom Saga and I-8 seem to have graphics that are actually realistic, in that they are attainable in this century. Devil May Cry could be real-time, but it's hard to say. Judging by the new Gran Turismo shots that don't look much better than GT4, I'd say that Killzone 2-quality graphics are simply impossible.

You have to see the fight night video, the killzone movie does look a little prerendered, but we can easily come close.

Look at the barrel of the DMC4 gun, you can see the polygonal corners, its real.

I was really impressed by the different shaders that were shown. That subsurface scattering looked fantastic. Who knows what will come up between now and release. Out of all the consoles shown, Im most excited by this one.

I'm still buying an XBox. PlayStation has never had my sort of games. Nothing but Sport Sims, mediocre Third Person Platforms and racing sims. Pity that Final Fantasy got boring after 9, but we'll see what Squaresoft pull out for Xenon.
