i booted steam up a few minutes ago and was greeted with a steam update. upon actually loading the games screen i was quite disappointed when nothing actually updated

What gets to me more than that is that this is the third thread in 24 hours that's basically said "Steam is updating. BUT NO MEDIA!!!! OMGFGFGSZ".

We don't need to know every time your Steam updates and nothing is there. I don't mind seeing the odd sensible question thread about Steam but when it's anything and everything it's a little annoying.
