Well, what do you think of this

When did he quote that.

The most surprising thing, is that I found the link when I was browsing the funnyjunk.com (For people from the UK, some of the pictures are used in Nuts)

That was one of the most ignorant things I ever had the displeasure of reading. Well, the first half of the article, I stopped reading before it killed my brain.

I won't go spewing anti religious stuff (unless I already did), but boy does that article tempt me.

I think you misunderstood the whole message.

Do you really hate us that bad?

Yeah that was a waste of time. I'm Catholic and I think that they are taking this 'seperation of church and state' a bit far. But whoever wrote that is an idiot.

Also I'm going to assume the guy who posted above me is Atheist. I'm curious to know if you think we should take 'under God' out of the Pledge. I mean, does it somehow make you feel that you are being oppressed? You know that one Atheist guy sued to have it taken out because he didn't want his daughter, who happened to not even be in his custody, saying the 'under God' part. I think that's stupid. This nation is 95% Christians. What happened to majority rules? Doesn't make sense to me.

Not personally, just the holier-than-thou (literally perhaps) attitude that often comes with it.

I could write something about the article, but I'm not sure about it's intentions as it's on a site called funnyjunk. It certainly didn't seem very funny to me, but maybe I'm just stupid.

edit: forgot the quote

Wha? How'd you get that I'm an atheist from what is said? Or are you talking about TheGreenBunny?

Anyway, I think it was a good message about what's going on. I'm not for forcing anyone to do anything, but I've been the subject of atheist trying to force me to disavow my beliefs, but God forbid I even say 'Oh My God' in front of them. *No, not all atheist, but many.* A lot at our school were debating with my friends and I about the pledge. I believe people should say the pledge as they please, with or without 'under God'...but they can't handle me having my freedom. They want it gone. Their argument was that it's oppresive to those who don't believe. I don't see how, no one forces you to say 'under God'. But, they said that people shouldn't be allowed to say it because offends those who don't believe...I guess it doesn't matter what offends Christians...we're all idiots after all.

Holier-than-thou you say? I don't remember me telling you to do anything. I don't remember saying you don't believe so you're going to hell or anything like that. I think this Holier-than-thou thing is just a religious prejudice stemming from some bad experiences you've carried. Tell me, if a black man punched you; Does that mean you're going to discredit all black men as being violent?

Why is it whenever there's some religious debate that turns sour, your involved
