were,s my pivot ball?/

im new to hammer and have followed a vid tut by ichy and i tried his basic door tut after watching it i went into hammer and started to do wot i saw in tut!!but when i get to the func_door_rotaiting entity and apply it,but its not there im suposed to drag the little ball shape thingy.... [the icon that u drag about for the door to axis on...a [blue ball] to were i want the door to move on its just not there can anyone help plzzz ;(

did you tie the entity to the door and you have to select the door you are trying to do

in Hammer go to View> and make sure "Show Helpers" is ticked, if it is and there is no ball in the model then you have done something wrong.

non of the things that peeps have said has worked i still have no func_door_rotating axis icon :x :frown: i have followd a door tut to the exact and no still no any help with this is well respected as ithink hammer is better than sliced bread? and feel lost without the fact i can,t even make a dam door

thx switch it was the show helper s. for some reason it had switched !! its self off!!
