What are things on the floor of De_Nuke?

Hey I was wondering if anybody knows what these things are on the floor of de_nuke. They almost look like stacked up coins growing from the ground. And why are there exposed wiring from concrete? Cs:go wiki sheds no light on
the matter.

They're part of one big model called floorbolts.mdl

So they're floorbolts.

I downloaded CS:GO and the SDK just to open the map in Hammer, find the name of the model, then open it in the model viewer.

Last time i recall Hammer is exe only, and I'm stuck on a mac. (Grant it, a really high powered mac)

So......Do they have a purpose? why would there be random bolts lying on the floor of a nuclear facilities. In all honesty, it's absolute lack of apparent purpose kind of seems more like a dev oversight in my opinion.

I don't think they're laying on the floor, they're coming out from the floor. Judging by the broken wiring, they were probably used to fasten some large machinery in that spot that is now missing. I don't know shit about this stuff but that much is apparent to me.

They were undoubtedly created based on reference photos from some industrial area. That's how most professionals create detail in game levels. It doesn't really make sense that they would randomly decide to stick some bolts in the floor.
