What are you doing to pass the time?

Everyday (assuming it comes out on the 30th) seems like a year. What are you doing to pass the time.

going through halflife SP for the first time.

tuning up my computer so it can run optimally for hl2

gathering ideas for a possible mod or map.

going to school, thinking longingly of a girl I like, rowing, doing homework, playing steam games, posting here, listening to They Might Be Giants.

edit: I too am hoping to get my hands dirty and work on a mod with some folks. It'd be my first time, but hey, if on anything, it probably should be source, no?

I'm just working... Playing some CS... Practice up on my guitar skills... oh, and I suppose I try to spend time with my girlfriend. Then during the weekdays, add college into the mix.

Not very eventful, but I enjoy it.

I'm also looking into doing some mod work, I've been tinkering with a few programs (I'm very fluent with 3DSMAX, trying to get a feel for XSI). I can make pretty decent 3D models, now I just need to work my major (which is computer science) into all of that and see what I can come up with.

Word...I really don't want to deal with a week and a half of college that starts up for me on Monday before it hits store shelves. Well, at least I'll know that I wasted my tuition by playing it constantly when it arrives and not studying a wink for my classes.

well me and my girlfriend, whos also anticipating half life 2 as much as i, have been keeping ourselves busy everyday by having sex. We try new tricks and new stuff and every day it is different. When we get tired we sleep and when we are hungry we go out to eat. Then we play some multiplayer games on my xbox. We watch porn and study them so that we can do them later. Ever since half life 2 was announced we have done this to pass the time. Very fun :afro:

None of the girls I know are even aware of the existance of HL2, let alone look forward to it. You could have been less descriptive about your activities though

Just an observation.... it seems that a lot of people posting here don't work or go to school.... I don't have a tenth of the free time some of you guys have because I'm simultaneously doing my HSC (don't know what it's called in other countries, it's year 12, final school year), getting degrees in composition and audio engineering, and working on my music. Do you guys just hang around at home all day trying to think of things to do, or is that just a few of you? :cheese:

So in answer to the question... I'm eagerly anticipating HL2, but there's no shortage of things for me to do while I wait for it. I manage to keep very busy.
