so, once again, here we go (old thread got lost :p)

luke slater - only you

Hi people,

I'm also back been away for a long time (school) so hi again. Anyhow i'm listening too "Pink Floyd - Echoes".

Nothing. My MP3's are all gone so I'm ripping some cds to have some tunes to shuffle through :)

Missing Persons - Destination

On some 80s netradiostation, I think it name is Club 977.

I haven't heard of any of those artists you guys have listed.

Coldplay - Amsterdam

Im listening to all the songs from Battlefield Vietnam. I'm starting to really like '60s music because it has a good beat, it isn't intense, and the people back then actually came up with lyrics rather than

"F*** this B*** mother f***** yo, yo...dog." -crappy rap band

Songs from BF: Vietnam? What are those like?

Getta Bloomin Move on : Italian Job Soundtrack.

Slowdeck - I'll World

On some trippy weird downtempo trip-hop radiostation.

"The Letter"
"All day and all of the night"
"Hush"
"Fortunate Son"
"I fought the law"
"You really got me"

etc.

the chirping of birds outside, and the fan on my cpu spinning

Juliette Lewis - Hardly Wait
It's a cover of PJ Harvey.

And now it's over so I'm now listening to
Marilyn Manson - The Reflecting God

np: Disturbed - Meaning Of Life [04:02m/128Kbps/44KHz]

J.S. Bach - Concerto for Violin & Strings in E Maj, BWV 1042 (2nd mvmnt, 'Adagio')

I see....I actually have some of those on a CD. Its one of those greatest hits from xx decade things.

Nine Inch Nails & The Spice Girls - Closer to Spice

Tony De Vit - I Don't Care (BK Remix)

listening to xfm at the moment, they're playing some drivel by The Streets...i wish they'd play some metallica again, was a refreshing change to all this punk rock and franz ferdinand they play all bloody day long.

'Sprites - Do it yourself' One of four mp3's freely available on a band's website I found through a post on these forums. I believe a member here is part of that band but I can't remember who it was. I would love to hear more :)

heh.. insipid lyrics have existed from the beginning man. case in point (from one of your example :))

kinks - you really got me

Girl, you really got me goin'
You got me so I don't know what I'm doin'
Yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I can't sleep at night

Yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I don't know what I'm doin', now
Oh yeah, you really got me now
You got me so I can't sleep at night

You Really Got Me
You Really Got Me
You Really Got Me
;)

stupid lyrics are functional, not necessarily bad. imho, of course.

If you want lyrics you should listen to TMBG :p
You'll overdose. And you'll be generally confused.

They should pay me for promoting them so much. not that anyone listens to me. I'll be off in the corner practicing dying.

yeah you do promote them entirely too much cyber..
for some reason i could never stand they might be giants, but i haven't tried listening to them in quite awhile.

OT: Ketama & Inma Serrano - La Ola
