What are you trying to achieve?

I'd like to achieve at least one of the below:

#1. Total, hegemonic domination of all mankind.

#2. Failing that, creation of an elaborate government structure that is based on either

a) fanatical belief in the righteousness of an ideology mandated by the State for the masses - ie, "Democracy"

b) cautiously controlled and maintained generic hate and fear towards a vague enemy force that is perceived as extremely dangerous by the majority of citizens, in which the State is seen as the only thing that they are able to depend on for survival and salvation

c) An almost religious love and reverence towards an entity that is perceived as to be near-divine, and therefore a target of unlimited, unwavering loyalty that is taken to the extreme, in which the citizen must aspire to the highest teachings of religious dogma, sacrifice of oneself. - ie, Warhammer40K, minus the religion.

In all three forms, religion would not be tolerated, for varying reasons ("Religion is the Opium of the People", "Why believe in God when you have your Country?"). The police force would be a part of the military, as to maintain efficiency by lessening bureaucracy - ex, "LA County Police Dept." would be "14th Regional MP Battalion, 2nd MP Regiment, 1st MP Corps". Everything would be efficiency at the most extreme - armies of statisticians and economists, social behaviorists, and et cetera would work to maintain the status quo: the happiness of the majority. Non-conforming citizens would be subject to revocation of citizenship thereby removing all their constitutional rights, or treatment at a State Mental Health Facility, where drug treatment for their ills will be provided free of charge, or memory wipes if the situation is too severe. Criminals (murderers, rapists, etc.), who are estimated to be too costly for rehabilitation, or is deemed impossible to do so, will be held in detention facilities for the rest of their lives in which they will work and work until they are able to compensate for the costs to the State and the Taxpayer who are keeping them alive, and to the victims of their heinous crimes. Those who cannot, or do not wish to, will be consigned to the eternal void.

Failing that,

#3. March into Pyongyang and fire a tank gun at the unholy statues of Kim Jong Il and Kim Il Sung.

I want to direct feature films and television for a living. I just love telling stories to people and, while it's incredibly wanky to say, it's a good feeling to know that you can create an entirely imaginary scenario where people actually care about the outcome of the drama in fictional people's lives. That gives me a lot of hope in people, especially during the worst times.

I've got pretty simple goals. As long as I can be involved in the film industry, have a good group of people to hang out with, a nice girl, and smoke weed regularly, life's good.
