Topic says it all. I decided to open this poll after switching to Mozilla Firebird last night, and I must say, I like it ALOT better than Internet Explorer :)

Anyone who isn't using an incarnation for Mozilla is like, silly and stuff.

Mozilla good? I always used IE and it crashes alot. Tried Netscape, it was slow and confusing. Might give Mo a go :)

IE, but now i'm checking out Mozilla Firebird.

Ok.. Mozilla Firebird is really cool...but one thing. Is there a way that I can get the "Download with DAP" option? I use DAP all the time and this is the only hangup

I basically opted to get rid of IE since I was getting stupid debugging script errors (even though it appeared I got rid of them, but some still occurred)

Plus, Firebird is a bit quicker (I didn't believe it at first, but, everything loads up faster..)

Amish, I have no idea, best bet would be this site: http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/faqs/phoenixwin.html

Doesn't look as though it's covered on the FAQ, but, you could ask around at the forums, or something.

Also, I'd like to add, Firebird has themes, integrated, easy to download and install, which I really liked :)

ug...the only downside to mozilla that i can see right now...is all the plugins i'll have to d/l. Like windows media player, quicktime or realplayer. Bah!

Did you use the Installer version, or the zipped version, Amish?

Also, realplayer is trash. I won't let it touch my system these days :) And I'm pretty sure WMP will work fine, but I think you have to apply a registry patch.

Edit: And I just tested QuickTime, works, didn't have to change anything (although you might have to use the firebird installer)

Ah... now i tried the installer and the plugins work fine. Gamespot is messed up sometimes though... everything is on the right... and I have to scroll over.

Can't say I have any problems with Gamespot.. only thing that could be affecting that is the "Resize large images to fit in the browser window", and that being the problem is a stretch

EI and M. Firebird
Last time I used Firebird it didnt display a few of the forums I visit correctly.
Otherwise I would be Firebird only. Best out there. :)

Mozilla is really cool. I just wish I could get downloads to minimize so that hey aren't in the start menu bar, but only above the status bar in mozilla with that download status bar extension

Crazy Browser!! It's kind of an "addon" for IE; tabbed browsing + pop up blocker. I like it alot more than mozilla and you don't have to get stupid support patches to wach Flash etc..

ever since Shuzer and Mr. Redundant suggested Mozilla Firebird i looked into it and have it downloaded.. just haven't gotten to install it.. will do this weekend for sure :)

before that i was using the regular Mozilla/IE but im in the middle of switching :E

Firebird with mouse gestures installed is best by far :D

opera ..stable, 100 times more secure than IE and a like 35 times smaller installer. plus a quiet good mail client, which prevents me from having to get 340 mb additional of outlook. everything in a 3.5 mb small browser.

Firebird! Using it with a couple of nice plugins like two ad-blocking plugins (one for certain image sizes like 468x60 and one for certain urls like doubleclick and such).

Sadly some sites have bad html coding which is tolerated by IE but not by Mozilla. If only people would be more compatibility-minded :| IE wouldn't even be needed for that occasional IE-only page.

I've now been using firebird for the last few months and at first I was wary, didn't partically like it (originally NScape Mozilla) and Now I can't live without it!
Guys & Gals seriously DUMP IE, WHen you start using tab browsing and many other Firebird functions you won't turn back!

First I used IE, then Netscape, then Mozilla, now I'm using Opera and MyIE2.

Do you know of banner blocking plugins by any chance? For Firebird ofcourse...

Mozilla and IE depends which OS I'm on, apart from a few security issues theres nothing wrong with IE.

Mozilla Firebird for me. But some sites require IE so i still got it around ;3

whats the good part with mozilla firebird?

Integrated pop-up blocker, tabbed browsing, faster cache read times, less annoyances, automatic downloading even if you don't tell it to save/open file, extensions, themes..
