What card does support HDR?

Well I built the machine about 2 years ago, so its an A7N8X-deluxe (rev 1.04 - one of the first) and when I built it, it had a 128mb Geforce4 4800se and an xp2600 - and only 2x 256mb of corsair ddr400 - but its been upgraded to the same spec as yours since then (got the 9800pro the day they hit the UK)
Before this I had a 1.4Ghz Athlon Thunderbird, Geforce2, 512mb 133 ram, etc.
and before that was a p3 450 w/192mb 133 ram w/TNT2 Ultra
and before that was a P2 266 w/64mb + voodoo2
and before that was my first machine, a lovely intel 486sx25 w/8mb ram and a cirrus logic onboard graphics chip probably the best pc ive ever had.

No, Not all dx9 cards can do "HDR" All of Ati's cards that are Dx9 can.
Nvidias Geforce FX series can't do it properally. I think they were trying to find a way to work around it, but what happend was if they ran HDR at anything lower then Fp32 on the Fx cards, (so thats either fp 16 or fp 12) It looked like utter crap.
And running it at fp32 was a complete right off, for the simple fact that the fps would litterally drop into the 1-10fps range.
The new Geforces can do it thankfully (Nvidias first true Dx9 cards lol)
