What character is the most interesting/do you want to learn more about in HL2?

at the end of blue shift there is this weird bit where you have to teleport somewhere... i can barely remember but it was quite unsatisfying. The only bit that was awesome for me in Blue Shift was when you relaised that you were the guy gordan sees with the flashlight thumping on the door right at the start of the game.

Blue Shift was a great Expansion with innovative and attractive Level Design with good little twists in it - like what you mentioned with the rail car sequnce. The Level Designers introduced complex and satisfying elemnts to the Maps. Such as the Wire Wheels that you had to shoot the chocks away and have them roll away.

The metalic floor in the intro with double scripted scientists so that they had thier own fake reflection, that was a most tidy addition. The neatly palced scripted_sequnces to have Dr. Rossenberg follow you corectly up those narrow flgihts of stairs after you had rescued him. Again, that was most tidy.

I could go on forever about how Good Blue Shifts level design is. The mod is really appreciated more from a Level Designers viewpoint.

oh dude don't get me wrong i loved it for the gameplay, it was the story line that went off at a tangent. I did some modelling so obviously all that modelling stuff was incredible...

Your post also made me remember some other cool stuff so i take back the whole 'only good bit' thing but the story just didn't quite do it for me.
