360 for Christmas. FTW..

Used to be a fan of sony, but they went retarded and screwed their system up.. I wouldn't be suprised if somehow MGS4 got over to the 360...
 
I got a PSP on eBay, but mostly for homebrew which is going swimmingly so far. :bounce:

I also have a DS which is my favorite system right now. Its just so different and fun that I can't get enough of it.

As far as the next-gen goes, I will buy nothing until price drops come around (or until some seriously great-looking games like Bioshock, Alan Wake, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, GTAIV, FFXIII, White Knight Story, MGS4, Mario Galaxy or any other cool Wii titles release). There just aren't enough great games on any of the systems to justify me forking over my hard-earned bucks, especially not when the PS2 is still getting loads of love in the form(s) of God of War 2, Rogue Galaxy, and Persona 3!!!

good point, but the 360 is a must buy really, its just so good. i cant do homebrew, i upgraded to 3.03 firmware
 
This should'a been a multi-option poll. And included the DS if you're going to include the PSP. Because then I could have gone Wii, 360 and DS.
 
I've had a 360 for over a year ... and i've had a Wii since Xmas. I bought them both. You can't get your wii fix from a 360, and you cant get your 360 fix from a wii, so you need both. There's really no need to fork out a LOT of money for a PS3 if you have a 360 and a Wii. Sony can go down the f***ing sh*tter for all I care, they need to learn a thing or two about public relations.
 
sony. they were making a good name for themselves. the ps1 was an amazing breakthrough of 3d technology in its time, then came the ps2. another breakthrough, for a good price. (not metioning the UBER xbox) even the psp was good. (i got one) But. then it came. the concepts of the ?570 supa doopa shit heap they call the ps3. most people cant afford it, so they buy the 360. (excellent machine by the way.) i cant beleve they ****ed up what they worked so hard to achive. the xbox 360 and the Wii have stormed stores like a RPG hitting a man, bits of beautiful succulant gaming flying everywere! (like the WII controllers http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news0...i_mishaps.html ) how could they?

PS3 and 360. Wii later once it has some games im interested in.
 
I, personally, would rather have a PS3 over the rest...so it will probably be what I buy later.
 
The PS3 looks cool...though I see no other reason to buy it. I have a 360 and a PSP (for Christmas)

A PS3 will be ordered at some point, but not for a year or two.
 
Buy PSP. It's great handheld with great games, it can play movies, songs or you can surf on internet via Wi-Fi. :thumbs:

360.

My DS would get more playtime if I had the money to buy some games for it. Right now I've got New Super Mario Bros. and Electroplankton.

I'm getting a Wii in a week or two, I think.
 
i think some of the ds games suck though, some are good, but the graphics cant even lick the boots of the psp. BUT, the ds is a large amount more fun, more.... interactive
 
bought myself a 360 for xmas. Will probably get a ps3 down the lime for mgs4, silent hill etc.....
 
If I do ever get a console, it'll probably be the 360.
So many of my friends at school have one and they play on Live.
 
It should be multiply choices and there should be an "Other" option.
 
I bought a PlayStation 3 a few weeks ago. I also own a PlayStation Portable but don't consider that a console and I got it for my birthday. So, I just voted for PS3. :p

No 360/Wii/PS3 yet for me

Sega Genesis, N64, and PS2 are the only consoles I've ever purchased (not including the Atari's).
 
NES, SNES, N64, PS2, Gamecube.

These newer consoles aren't for me.

I'd rather play SNES emulators (enjoying Lost Vikings atm whenever I have spare time at school :p )
 
Could've expanded the poll a little, added multiple options. No DS?

360 here, and more recently a PS2, for shits ang giggles. At this stage not going near the PS3, but I might get a Wii somewhere down the track.

Edit - Oh, and an original Xbox before the 360. Got it for Christmas, then sold it to a friend (mate's rates) and put that towards the 360. Also had a PSX awhile back but that was the family's.

This is spot on. I picked up a Wii in November, and just got a 360 this week. Also, maybe I'm getting bored with PC gaming, or slowly turning into a console kid, but I felt my money was better spent on the Wii60 rather than a new gfx card and mobo and drives for my aging rig.
