what countries do you think each class is from?

the spy IS french - anybody who has ever heard a french accent will tell you.
unfortunately most of you americans never have.

Also the heavy is not necessarily russian - the accent is just slavic, he could be georgian or polish..

No he is Russian. No way he could be from Poland.
Look at my location before answering. :p

Umm, this has already been discussed to death. I think the general consensus was:

Heavy: Russia
Sniper: Australia
Scout: New York
Pyro: Ambiguous
Spy: England
Medic: Germany
Demoman: Scotland
Engineer: Texas
Solider: America

I don't know how you could think the demo and medic were American...

New York and Texas are countries?
;)

We'll never know where the spy is from. He's a spy. That's the point.

Easy answers:

Scout - State of New York
Soldier - America
Pyro - Unknown
Demoman - Scotland
Heavy - Russia
Engineer - Texas
Medic - Germany
Sniper - Australia
Spy - France

I have a sneaking suspicion the Pyro is British. At least that's what I hope.

I always thought sniper was English. Liberal use of "wanker", "pikey" and "god save the queen"

The English set up shop in Australia it's only natural we have similarities. We are still tied somewhat to the UK as it is unless we decide to become a republic one day.

Ok...medic says "danka". THATS GERMAN!
freanch people sound fremch and if the demoman got any more scottish he would be a deep fried mars bar.
plese tell me you deaf, then i will forgive you.

The Scout is from Boston, says the back of the trading cards...

Isn't it kind of too obvious the be the thread?

heavy- Russian
Demo-man- Scottish
Medic- German (Danke Herr Doctor)
Scout- American (boston)
engineer- American
Spy- Russian (sounds like it to me: You got blahd on my soot)
Soldier- American
Pyro- ???

I've never hung around them long enough to here them say that! Lawler-scates

I am infatuated by english curse words. there are so many more athan american curse words and they're or so much more original and hilarious.

Spy is definitely not English. I believe he's French. Back-stabbing bastard :hmph:.

Sniper I always thought sounded Austrailian, but I guess his comments "God save the Queen" are either sarcastic, or he comes from a very obscure part of England.

Oh wait, I forgot. American's can't tell the difference between Australians and the English :p.

The Sniper may sound Australian, but it is a very stereotypical Australian accent. I always thought that the Spy was British, just listen to him saying "Doctor"

I can't believe some people are still saying the Spy is anything other than French! Jesus christ!

I know people who are from France. I watched Amelie :)D). It's very clearly a French accent, and unfortunately enough his call for a doctor is one of his most obvious signs of French-ness :p

The Queen of England is the offical head of state of Austrailia (but perhaps not for much longer. There is talk of replacing her with an Austrailian president).

Not really. That died in the ass.

We do try, but nowadays everyhting is an insult in some form.

The cheer on the Pyro does sound quiet British, i think he says take cover.
