Umm, this has already been discussed to death. I think the general consensus was:
Heavy: Russia
Sniper: Australia
Scout: New York
Pyro: Ambiguous
Spy: England
Medic: Germany
Demoman: Scotland
Engineer: Texas
Solider: America
I don't know how you could think the demo and medic were American...
the spy IS french - anybody who has ever heard a french accent will tell you.
unfortunately most of you americans never have.
We'll never know where the spy is from. He's a spy. That's the point.
In that case, James Bond is the worst friggin' spy ever.
Ok...medic says "danka". THATS GERMAN!
Ok...medic says "danka". THATS GERMAN!
freanch people sound fremch and if the demoman got any more scottish he would be a deep fried mars bar.
plese tell me you deaf, then i will forgive you.
"Danke". Other common mistake is "Hurr" instead of "Herr".
I always thought sniper was English. Liberal use of "wanker", "pikey" and "god save the queen"
The Sniper may sound Australian, but it is a very stereotypical Australian accent. I always thought that the Spy was British, just listen to him saying "Doctor"
The Queen of England is the offical head of state of Austrailia (but perhaps not for much longer. There is talk of replacing her with an Austrailian president).Spy is definitely not English. I believe he's French. Back-stabbing bastard :hmph:.
Sniper I always thought sounded Austrailian, but I guess his comments "God save the Queen" are either sarcastic, or he comes from a very obscure part of England.
I am infatuated by english curse words. there are so many more athan american curse words and they're or so much more original and hilarious.
