i'm expecting lots of people to say 'i was on irc' or 'i got on with my life, dummy'. but honestly, what did you do to fill the void.

me, i got so bored i formatted my comp three times just for the hell of it. got drunk lots (no change there), went outside (not advisable), and generally moved around like normal humans should. riveting stuff eh?

I got on IRC...I also got a job at the movie theatre!

Played alot of UT2k4, and IRCed a bit more than usual.

I got over exited about pipelines and pixel shaders, I also did some programming and helped my friend set up a security website...

Basically I'v been a complete nerd and nothing has changed (other than I'm slightly more obnoxious).

Well, april fools day would have been a good diversion, but I was at work experiance, and I would have got in a lot of trouble. So i've decided to keep the spirit of april fools day alive for as long as possible (at least until I have a chance for pranks at school).

Recently I found a couple of old tubes of superglue (quick drying), so the possibilities are endless. Glueing supermarket produce to the walls and/or ceiling was good for passing a few days. (the best is yoghurt. Apply glue liberally to the foil top and glue to wall. Wait for one of the staffies to come and rip it off and get covered in yoghurt!)

Otherwise, I basically watched TV.

OMFG jabberwock, that yogurt thing is hilarious! I am going to try that!

It is one of my better pranks. The hard part is trying not to crack up when people point and whisper, 'whats that tomato doing on the ceiling?'. :)

A shop near me has a special on loctite superglue so i'm stocking up. When I get back to school the fun will really begin...

I ordered lots of random hardware doohickeys. Now I need to figure out what the hell I'm gonna do with them. :D

I went to my best friends' house more... they have a trampoline! :bounce: I also ended up playing a lot more Half-Life Deathmatch, and a bit more paintball! Whoooo

i discovered irc. not litterally, but i found that it is interesting to chat there. i never used to go on it a month ago. I also have been playing UT2k4, going out the park lots to play football now its nice and sunny... ive been on two day trips to london... meh. not a lot

Got more work done (school). I dont know what will happen now when hl2.net is up. Why isnt there 30 hours on one day?

I shouted at Munro a lot.

I had many exams (Programming, Software Dev, and Formal System) as well as playing alot of UT04, FC, and SP. Moreover I tried to break down the Firewall of my university so I can get full connection of 8Mbit persec (I did break it only once) :E.

Oh hey, I forgot about paintball! I played my first two days' worth while HL2.net was down, and it was great! My new favorite sport!

You are now addicted for life. You're doomed to a life of travel and expense, but you'll love every minute of it!

Nah, forums take less time than dealing with the likes of Pinapoke + yummy and CyberSh33p in IRC ;(

In fact. Here's me and D33 talking about it

uh, you're welcome? :P

and I spent about 10 minutes in IRC at a time, in general, at which point I usually switched to firefox and forgot about it.

and I exitted a lot because idling is for losers.

other than that I overdosed on warcraft 3.

We're trying to h4x the admins computers all the time in my school. They announced war after we made one of the work 6 hours overtime. Its war now baby... ah yes.

I love my school sometimes :)

Well, I contemplated slitting my wrists and wallowing in my own self pitty while repeating the words "halflife2.net is down" over and over again.

Instead I went to school because I kinda' had to.
I also went outside (ooh, aahh)

Sorry guys, but I learned how to play the HL2 beta...... :( It's gone now!
*ray_MAN bickers

I not only refreshed hl2.net every 20 minutes but also cursed out loud every time it didn't load.

lol, Im temporarily hooked on FarCry, and the Sandbox editor, and learning to use it efficiently had to be the most frustrating day of my life!

I went to other forums...specifically: Painkiller official forums, Manga to Anime forums and ATrip forums.

And realized Prince of Persia:TSOT was a kick @$$ game, & also gotten better at Super Smash Bros. Melee, I can kick most of my friends' asses.

Considered buying an Xbox, saved no money for a Mac, and tryed to install Linux.

Oh, and I'm taking out a girl I like very soon :)

The ultimate goal in all school computer rooms is to get admin access...

I remember when a group of kids (me included) waged a constant battle to keep Doom on the schools network, against the constant deletion and security imposed by the teachers. They went ballistic every time we were caught playing it: :cheese:

What methods are you using? (Besides running up to the admins comp and stealing it :)) Unfortunately I don't have much of a chance for mayhem nowadays, as all teachers can call up anyones screen and take control of the computer. *sigh*

became addicted to porn (more so than before). Also developed a strange desire to learn alot about early European history.

EDIT: lol, at our school one of my mates got ahold of the administrators password and used it to create his own administration account. Now he has complete controll of the school networks. Although so far hes only used it to allow games to be stored on the network.

I found a gaping hole that I could only temperarily fill by signing up to any forum I might be remotely interested in.Can someone please tell me why im a member of the NRA?(Thats the National Roads Authority-Ireland)I mean it doesnt make any sense.

But now im glad you're back so now i need no longer complain about the state of the back roads of Kerry.

Heh, our IT teacher is awful (in a good way) and never checks in on what we're doing. Something messed up once, and logged everyone off. Everyone got back on OK, except for my mate Tom. After restarting he logged on okay, and he had admin access, and it's stayed like that, lmao. All he's done so far is change our passwords to whatever we want. He doesn't want to mess anything up because he's on thin ice with our IT teacher at the moment

well, with nothing else to do, i went to www.dosgames.com and downloaded old games. and played scorched earth, about 20 times....... seriously. :D

methods? Well, a nice weapon: http://w1.302.telia.com/~u30208335/dump/mycompy.jpg
and alot of dead time

Anyways, the school is using somesort of netscreen encryption program. That means that we need a special key to get out on the intaweb and on our local network. We found ways to go around this with another program and some changed we made. We now have unlimited access to internet and everything else \o/

I spent all days on mIrc.. Trying to get over the abstinence.

Instead of reading the forums and living on the site, I was forced to venture outside, where a sun beam hit me in the arm and burnt a hole straight through it =\
Went to the hospital, I'm ok now. I was forced to work on some VB projects I've been slacking off on.

I e-mailed Valve, also shouted at Munro (Fenric too ), worked, went out and wrote articles for the site.

All that in a month!! :O

Oh, I shouted at some people too, forgot that! :)

Reminissed with Majestic_XII about our pre-staff days (read: old bitchfights :E)

I wub you Maj :D

I started posting at *************, though it's really quiet over there.

Hl2.net has a monopoly on Hl2 fans!!!
