What did you think of Collateral the movie?

Just wondering what everyone thought of the movie Collateral? I thought it was kick ass and I have seen it three times.

LOL! He isn't the hero, and you just ruined the movie for anyone who hasn't seen it but oh well. I liked it because for once Cruise played a truly bad guy, and he was frelling amazing.

It was alright. Defintiely not as good as Michael Mann's other movie "Heat." The only reason I went to go see the movie was because of Heat actually, although I didn't like it as much.

I enjoyed the first half, but the second dragged somewhat... oh and Cruise's death was totally contrived and didn't seem real at all.

BTW, if he knew that max had that chicks number and address in the car, why did he get him to go the club to get the last 2 names.. I mean, all he needed was the one?

Also. The reason the cops get onto him is because of his trademark of 2 in the heart & 1 in the head (bullets), but his first victim falls out of the window... How the hell did he fall out of the window with three bullets in him (unless he was stood next to the winodow), which makes Cruise's charachter a shitty assasin if he was.

I thought the movie was good, except I didn't really like the ending. I liked the shooting-scenes though, very well made.

A trailer doesn't tell how the movie ends. Would you like me to dig up a bunch of lines from the leaked HL2 script and then say "meh you already knew a major plot element from the previews and videos"?

I haven't seen the movie and yes cyber should have used spoiler tags, people make mistakes, but the ending (as a whole) is pretty/very obvious in these types of movies (unless there is some twist which hasn't been said, but then nothing would be spoiled anyway).
