There is a swedish person who lives at my house actually, and her family have visited upon occasion. Its weird, because although the language sounds quite different, the accent sounds pretty similar to some regional accents of the north (England). Which makes sense really considering the vikings took over much of north England. Its just interesting to think about things like that.

Actually, the vikings who attacked England were Norwegian. The Swedish 'vikings' went to the east through Russia.

True unknown, and i realise the two sound different but from the perspective of an outsider its not that dissimilar. Norwegians do actually have English accents At least all the ones ive seen on the tele and otherwise do.
