Betcha I got the weirdest one. I travel the U.S. with a mechanical bull doing gigs at fairs, concerts, and *shudders* rodeos.

I'm an obesity officer, I take candy from children.

I don't have a job. :(

I'm stuck doing volunteer work for my school over the summer. (The bastards made 40 hours of volunteer work a graduation requirement...)

I weld things together with a torch.

I kid you not.
I'm a welding apprentice, working on anything that gets requested from schools, autobody shops, etc.

I used to develop games.

Now I write.

Im still in school but for the past two years ive been an assistant teacher in D.C. at Beauvoir Private school at the national cathedral.

working for the summer in a lab trying to make a plasmid(circular piece of dna) to make a knockout mouse(mouse that doesn't have a protein)

Private security,

securing private parties every saterday.

Now I m looking for a 1 year industrial placement for my University course (puter science)

I push shopping carts in from the parking lot of the local Wal-Mart Supercenter. Get a bunch of exercise out of that. When I'm not working, im at ITT Technical Institute taking their Computer & Electronics Engineering Technology course.

You write? Wow. The more I think about it, the more you're secretly me from ten years in the future.

What sort of writing do you do? Articles? Reviews? Novels? Fiction? Non-Fiction?

When I was younger, it was my life's dream to write a fantasy novel. I still have the majority of the plan in my head, and one day, I'll sit down to do it.

Anyways, as for my job, currently I work in the mail centre for a pensions company, sorting post and scanning pages. In four weeks time, I'm moving to another job as an "It Support Analyst" - the base level in the software company I'm joining. I've heard good things about job prospects there. The guy before me became a database administrator, and before him, the guy became an actual software coder (which is what I aim for).

Surprise surprise, I'm not actually a lawyer. When it came to choosing where I was going with my life, there the choice between going into computers, or into law. I chose computers. If I'd chosen law, I'd probably be hanging around a Law forum, posting under the name of "Angry Programmer".

Novels. Well, novel at the moment. Maybe more later.

When not at college or on the PC im working at 'Making Sainsbury's Great Again' work on Produce (Fruit&Veg) keeping shelves filled.

It is an extremely rewarding job
/sarcasm

I collaborate with Glenn, Shodan and Vegeta doing drawings of Lemonking's mum.

I do that too, at Fred Meyer. I hate it and wish I was dead. How much do you get paid?

work at a Argos Warehouse, getting paid £6 per hour + £13 per day for working nights, 11:00pm to 6:30am

I used to be a switch tech in Kuwait with ITT Industries, Systems Division. Now I'm job hunting. I couldn't take up their offer to stay another year, due to obligations back here in the States. :frown: I wouldn't mind going back over, though. They say the grass isn't always greener on the other side... well, that's only true because it's a desert.

$6.00/hr at the moment. I've only been there for a little over a month though. I soon get a performance review and according on how I do i get a raise. Then I get another chance at a raise every 6 months. But I may not be there long, a new Lowes is opening up across the street, and will be paying $10.00/hr for the same thing I basically do now. Definitely will try to transfer to there.

edit: Just another note, the Wal-Mart I work at is the 3rd or 4th largest in the ENTIRE UNITED STATES! (cant remember which it is). Just tonight I was there from 2-11, and for two hours I was BY MYSELF pushing carts. Needless to say the lot got pretty full by the time I left.
