I enjoy talking about anything I'm really interested in.

Not with people who don't know wtf I'm talking about though.

Music-making hardware for example. I only know like 2 people who I can freely talk about that with and actually share interests.

ZT, you could say the same about video games or electronics. There is a lot to talk about in the world of sports.

Raziaar, sports are the "good programming". With the exception of some shows on the Discovery Channel, I think a lot of other TV is boring.

Raziaar, sports are the "good programming". With the exception of some shows on the Discovery Channel, I think a lot of other TV is boring.

All my sports related scenarios have been on Fox usually. Preventing me from watching Simpsons, Futurama, and Family Guy. Oftentimes the sports would go in 'overtime' and the awesome animated shows would suffer.

I too hate the usual sport (what most consider normal (NBA,NFL,NHL.MLB etc....)) I prefer drag racing (not NHRA american crap) I like the Pro stock, pro street,street stock, street modified, street pro etc...(stuff at normal car shows (if you go to Summer Slam, that racing)

The only sport event I've been too that I found interesting and moderately enjoyable was Hockey. Primarily because of how simple it is. But still it's not something I would watch on TV.

Hockey is the only sporting event I've actually been to as well(other than being a referee in a paintball tournament.

Only went once, it was cool because the guys were fighting, but other than that... boring.

I'd rather be on the ice in a pair of hockey skates and just skate around than watch other people play some silly game.

The same principle applies to local radio stations. I hate it when they omit my favorite music in favor of a football game. (I really should get Sirrus or XM one day) They should really have dedicated stations for that kind of stuff or something. As far as TV goes, that's why there's a thing called PPV.Make the football fans pay. *sheesh* /facepalm
