Just want to see peoples opinion on the the beer they think is there favorite and alittle bit why??

well, it changes depending on mood/season. right now, in the cold twilight of winter, i like dark and warming beers. had a very sweet beer called "n'ice chouffe" recently, it was awesome :)

generally, i'm a big fan of unibroue. especially "trois pistoles" and "fin du monde".

for american beers, i like the great lakes brewing company's pale ale "burning river", and their "dortmunder gold" lager is great too. they have a great porter also "edmund fitzgerald".

"hoegaarden" is a great everyday beer.

I tend to like MGD, Budweiser, Samuel Adams, and various German brands.

Beer smells like cat pee

Ok im done. :)

Well I bet your mass market hefes beat out the American counterparts. ;) Not that they're that bad here, but its so much better from one of the local microbrew pubs.

**edit- Oh wait, you're not from Germany.

Stella Artois is my favourite, if i can't get that, Grolsch.
Fosters, Carling are poo. Carlsberg isn't too bad :) (prefer the export variety)

Ummm... Would it hurt to say that I agree with you? I don't have access to German beer on a regular basis. I have to have something while I can't get any...

k some good german beers?

k some good german beers? and ones you can get in the US...

im lookin to try out some non-watered down crap.
and no wheat ales

Definatley Guiness you can get in Ireland, or Corona here in the US. Yep, and that is the absolute truth.

My favorite beer is Weihenstephaner. It's kind of hard to find; I haven't had it in over a year since I moved to Arizona, but the brewery that makes it (in Munich, I think) has been around since 1045 AD or something close to that. They claim to be the oldest brwery that is still in operation today. But anyway, it only comes in Liter bottles, definitely check it out if you come across it, it's a nice malt liquor.

Kokanee man, ice cold glasher fresh....

ahh who am i kidding im underage and dont know the difference, but kok is so fav my fav, or a corona

current faves...

Cobra indian lager
Asahi super dry
Baltika russian
Budvar chzech

Being German, I vote Franziskaner, Tucher and Paulaner for Hefeweizen...Beck's, Duckstein and Heineken as "normal" beer...
