What do YOU want to see at E3?

Actually see oringally Nihilistic was developing Sc:G and blizzard did out of game cinamatics, annoucments and over sight. Alot of people didn't like the Sc: G videos...I guess blizzard didn't either.

Blizzard eventually kicked Nihilistic off and brought Swinging Apes. No news about what swinging apes has done has been released(Blizzards fault they in charge of annoucments).


Blizzard makes sure that if there name is anywhere on it...it's gotta be blizzard quality. Which only makes me think... Will blizzard cancel the project?

Anyways i'd take Sc2 over SC:G anyday.

I just wanna see some more of the Unreal 3 engine. Only had those couple of short videos from last year and I wanna see what they've been doing with it. HL2 expansion would be nice to look at too(obviously)

Any next-gen consoles would make me happy as well :bounce:

Another Ninja Gaiden.

And i wanna see what Valve have been doing all these years with Team Fortress 2.
 
****ing age limit at E3 is absurd. Why do you have to be 18 to go damnit? They have almost nude women at the auto show in the same place and theres no problem with me going there. Godamnit I wish i could go, by the time im 18 i will either not be interested in games or be away at college. ****ers
 
You can't just be eighteen and go to E3. You have to be associated with the media.

The General public can't get in. Only certain people with a special pass can...If the public were allowed in...you wouldn't beable to walk in that place.

Black (for playstation 2 or something, I heard this game has mad effects, big explosions, satisfying damage and a lotta dust/particles/debris/etc) I haven't seen it yet however, and it's on PS2 (as far as I know) which isn't that impressive... but still.

Black and White 2 (cmon what happened to this? I WANT TO SPANK MY MONKEY DAMNIT.... in the context of the game of course, you sickos)

Command and Conquer:whatever the hell is coming next (red alert 3 or whatever, I don't care, just gimme more C&C baby)

Diablo 3 (would be nice to see it, even though WoW is practically D3 just an MMO that you pay for monthly... it's more D3 than it is an actual MMORPG like UO - that isn't really a bad thing, just an observation)

Bioshock (Im curious to see what the developers of SS and SS2 are going to bring to the table)

Hardware:
hoping some new video cards will be unveiled
the latest from ATI hopefully.

Remakes of the old Commander Keen games in 3D
A No One Lives Forever type game.

Actually there is quite a high chance we will see one or the other.
I mean, c'mon. They arn't gonna make a Warcraft 4 after making WoW and Warcraft 3 and Wc3TFT.

Diablo's are made by Blizzard North while Sc and Wc are Blizzard HQ.
Thus they can work on 2 diffrent games at one time.
Starcraft 2 is a must make. I mean hell when it still gets people thats up to how many people are on Wc3...(Averaging a nice 40k with highs going up to 150k).

Sc has such a story that must be continued... :)

Thats not concept art! Those screenshots using the ingame engine. Concept art is very rarely used on the game engine
 
concept art ..trust me, it's concept art ..you can see the faux brushstrokes. BTW I'm an illustrator/designer ..I know artwork when I see it

According to our info yes they are screenshots.
If they arn't I can see in some screenshots the artist went as far to show the jagged lines.

Also tell me why they say this for a screenshot
"Enemy AI employs proper tacitcs -- One squad lays down suppressive fire (Background) while another assults (Foreground)."

Which does show what is going on this also goes on for quite a few screenshots.

Those look wayy to good to be concept art dude.
I don't see any reason to believe these arn't screenshots.
They don't look insanley grand. Nor do they look like shit.

They look like a game.

But seriously why would an artists go as far to imbue jagged lines on there pictures?
 
Does this honostly look like concept art to you? I can almost count the polys in the gun. I mean his freaking arm is going through his leg!!

yes, yes it does, look at the position of the bodies ..too natualistic, games are not at that level yet

oh and I can get the "jaggies" by simply using illustrator

I'm sure you could, but why would you want to? Doesn't make any sense.

You can make out the edges of the polygons, the textures get blurry close up. If it's concept art, it is using art from the actual game (models, textures) and I don't see anything in it that wouldn't be possible real time.
 
because as many artist do, you lay it out in illustrator and then finish it off in photoshop ..it's faster that way
 
Why would they put this in black text on a "concept art" in the top right corner saying
'A gorgeous graphics engine brings an unpreceduented level of detail to men, vehicles, and enviroments'

Why? Why would they say that on a piece of concept art. What would be the point?

As on the Pc:G site it says,
"After you’ve seen the Call of Duty 2 engine at work, you’ll have no doubts about the level of emotion, intensity, and grittiness achievable in the current generation of shooters."
