Does it make a big difference if you have it on? improving the graphics? What exactly does it do?

well, it makes a big difference in ur fps, makes it uber low

gets rid of jaggy edges and makes things look smoother. same effect can be created by simply upping the resolution.

adds partially transparant vertices/polygons whatever to the edges of things, thus making them smooth.

i'd recommend it in sp only, and even there at a max of 4x. in mp graphics aren't as big a deal as winning ;)

If your comp can run smoothly with it on, it's fine...only those diehard CS fans turn it off :p

:(

The game won't be very playable if I have it on :(

And AA seem like it improves alot!

what are your specs nex? more than likely you will be able to play with some AA on.

hmm you were right, I set it to x6 and it works fine. x6 is max for me, is it for everyone else too? Allso where do I set AF in the options? I can't see it.

My computer spec:

512 MB RAM
3.06 Ghz
9700 non PRO (OCed to 315 core/300 memory)

I prefer to just up the resolution, basically the same effect but it's much easier on your FPS.

Ah, maybe my card can handle AA...

GeForce 4 MX 420 64 MB AGP 4x..will that handle AA?

The question I have is- Will it run better for me than CZ? I cant run CZ with any AA or AF on or I get major mouse lag.

Specs- AMD 2800+
1024mb PC2700 RAM
ATI 9800 Pro 256mb

I hear it is because ATI has bad ogl drivers, but the game is still running on a 5+ year old engine.
