What does Breen say? (spoilers)

After you destroy the teleport at the end of the game, what does Breen say (if anything)? My game gets a bit slow at that point and I can't make it out.

Well, you heard correct, that's what he says. Does this mean he lived or is he just one of those people who can talk calmly while falling to their death just like in them picatures...

Would he really be saying "you need me" to Gordon? I think he's calling out to the combine avisor he was talking to earlier to rescue him. Also he has a protective force field around him, which seems to block the orbs you shoot at him at the very least. This might protect him from the nuclear(?) explosion .. at least partially. We might see him again in HL3 .. maybe somehow "restored" by the combine.

Fussion Reactors are supposed to be safer than Fission Reactors. Soo... hmmmm.

I think he's talking to Gordon.
Look at all the characters.

They all assume you know everything. Except Breen.
Breen is the only character who tells you how it is.
If you beat the game you know what I'm talking about.

With Breen dead. The knowledge he had is gone and Gordon is once again stuck.

If you look around I think there are actually 3 reactors in the complex .. at least there are 2 more structures identical to the one that starts falling/explodes. I think they might power his force field long enough to be knocked out of the way before the other reactors are destroyed by the explosion.

I'm not sure they are reactors...plsui think Breen escaped...

I think this because he shouts "NO!" then theres a white flash similar to the flash when the dropships appear fromt he combine universe and then and his voice goes very "echoey" as if he isnt in the room "You need me..."

But teleported where? remember in the beginning when the portal went haywire for gordon, and he ended up all over the place except for hsi intended destination?

Who is to say Breen didnt end up in the middle of the ocean somewhere when his portal got screwed!?!?

I'm positive he's talking to humanity in general; if Breen is dead, then there's no one to argue for in mankind's favour. Breen was the one that ended the 7-hour war, after all. I don't see how Breen would be talking to Gordon through-out the whole last bit, and then suddenly be talking to the advisor (who I assume can't even hear him, heh).

No, that white flash is when the singularity collapses (and time sort of slows down)...i mean the one before hand, before alyx comes out.

Also, i am not sure its a nuclear explosion

Kage: Well the Advisor is physcic...so it could be. Although at first i also thought he was talking to humanity, and still think he is. As in you need me to evolve and to progress i am our saviour

I looked into this, and it seems Breen is gone by the time your hear his last words (plus they sound as if he's talking from somewhere out there) .. the question is where did he get teleported ...
