What does your avatar represent?

My avatar represents America; everything Europeans and Commies want to be.

Well, unlike a semi skeleton with a hat dancing?, goblin sharks exists. Making it far less stupid :p

America is a damn nice place but your current government can **** right off :p

Anyhow my avatar is a south park style representation of me in a jedi outfit...

My avatar is MENTOK the Mind Taker.

Ooo Wee Eee Ooo Weep Eee Ooo Weep Eee Ooo

Captain Jack Bartlett from Ace Combat 5.

I was a big fan of that game when I made this avatar(and still am, although to a lesser degree), and I just can't be bothered to change it.

Mine's a gasmask, a kind of statement of militant preparedness. It's also a nod to the band Revenge, from one of whose albums the exact logo is lifted.

In Revenge's words, it would symbolise a:
"RECKLESS HERETIC CULT OF UNDYING DEFIANCE
GODLESS RELIGION, ORDER OF INFINITE CHAOS" (sung in the manner of man with throat cut)

My old avatar was Don-Pacchi from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, because non-Japanese speakers will unfortunately never be permitted to know how funny that series originally was.

a semi skeleton with a hat. actually i think it's more of a zombie with a hat.

That is Iron Maiden's Eddie :D

Mine is Kane and I just can't be arsed changing it.

Mine's a rather friendly walrus from some random CSS spray a saw a while ago.

A piece of graffiti I snapped a photo of on a trip through Poland.

Mine's a virus smiley from Ed's computer from Cowboy Bebop.

A stained glass window of Gordon Freeman (hard to see).

In simple terms mine relates to my user name.

In deep psychological reasoning it's me trying to have an image of being a 'hard man' like the terminator as if i had the name 'friendly bunny rabbit man' it would likely have the opposite effect but in reality it's because i like the film and it was a quick to come up with name when i decided 'short recoil' was actually a really stupid name that meant little.

@Loke: Portal? Heh, go ahead and stone me, but I've haven't played Portal yet. (going to remedy that soon though. :) ) I always though your avatar was a men's restroom picture tbh.

@Darkside55: Your avatar has always looked like an evil peter-pan to me. :) Srsly, who is it?

Do I even have to say what my avatar is? :p Well ok, it's a really cool dragon avatar. Don't know who exactly, as my sig states, Dog-- gave it to me. I just though it was cool.

My previous avatar was the Fire Djinni from Golden Sun, as I couldn't find an image of Saturos, the main antagonist in GS. I like this one better now that I have it though.

Saturos, your avatar looks exactly like one Dog-- had back when he changed his name to Cave Canem. Where did it come from?

That's because it is, willy. I gave it to him.. lol

The hardships faced by the neo-european communists during the Ornithischians period of the first deppression of the tertiary-Omni-eulthamic-thero-troodontis age.

The "Cake" from Portal. Changed it in celebration of my 18th.

J.R. "Bob" Dobbs, the f*cking slack master. That's god to you.

@Darkside55: Your avatar has always looked like an evil peter-pan to me. :) Srsly, who is it?
Peter Pan? PETER PAN?!

Run while you can. No matter where you go, you cannot escape me. I will find you.

I am Darkheart.

Mine represents the common denominator. The makeup of mankind. The common person. The forgotten soldier. A thing that, when multiplied, is the most devastating force this world has ever known. It represents the forgotten bones in the great wall, the contents of the many war cemeteries, the faded pictures of men lost. It is the power, the shame, the event that is us.

But if you kinda squint at it you might see a goomba

Sit back, this may take bit...
When I started my 2 year tour of Germany, I found out I would be driving one of these. The first thing I said when I saw it was: "That's a big fuc*ing gun"....About a year and a half later, I became the section chief of that same gun, and got the opportunity to name it. Since I was part of the 'B (Bravo) Battery' the name had to start with a 'B'. Remembering my first impression, I named it “BFG” (The guns' name had been 'Buford', no shit, the old section chief had named it after his coon dog back home)
During Desert Storm, I was an acting Platoon Sergeant, and asked the chief of the best section in the platoon if he would name his gun “BFG”, after telling him what it meant, he did. During one Major Generals tour, he asked the section chief what “BFG” stood for, the chief told him, and the General said that he would always have a gun named “BFG” in his command.
Imagine my amazement when years later I was playing Doom, and picked up the infamous “BFG”.
And when I started building computers a few years back, and was looking for video cards, of course I just had to go with the “BFG” brand. And, as you can see by my sig. I'm sporting two of those monsters in SLI.....
So when it came time to pick an avatar, I decided on the “BFG” logo, for those reasons. Took me about 4 hours to get the gif the way I liked it....
tl/dr, I know, but I haven't been able to tell that story in a while....
